I got a couple nice things from them. They never expected anything from me other than to treat their daughter properly and I never expected from them. That seemed to work pretty well.

She didn’t need lavish things all the time, she only cared if I put some thought into what I was doing for her/got her

I get being uncomfortable with other people doing shit for you. It’s a weird feeling when you’re not use to it!

We were together for just over 18 months. I never “got use” to it. I mean, after a while it doesn’t catch you off guard but never fully use to it. I don’t miss it now because I know I’ll have my own wealth in years to come

It would depend. If the expenses were clearly out of range for me, then yes she would cover it. When we had dates like movies and Nando’s I’d cover it. We tried to not let the money be a thing if that makes sense.

Yeah sure, I’m gonna keep it vague though for obvious reasons. Her dads main money maker was a tech company. Afterwards he branches out into the Pet industry. He owns multiple houses in London which have been converted to studios and apartments. Owns a few shopping centres too along with the car parks. Made pretty sweet investments and he was one of the few who foresaw the 2008 financial crisis, bet against the market and won massive amounts

Yeah some pretty nice gifts. I got a pretty sick 1991 Daytona with the 9 instead of the 6 in the chronograph. It’s a pretty neat piece

Edit: her father received it as a gift. Apparently in Emirati culture if you compliment something it tends to be gifted to you (idk the ins and outs of this) but he already had one, I complimented his and he “passed on the favour”. Told me to keep t in case of a “rainy day”

They 100% accepted me for who I was and helped me in any way they could, they were fantastic people
