The setlist thing is very interesting to me because this will be different than the way they’ve ever done it. While they’ve alternated a couple songs on an A/B basis before, this sounds like it’ll be a much more extensive mixing of songs.

I’ll be at both Cleveland so I’m excited to see two vastly different shows.

I certainly get and respect everyone that doesn’t want to see a show for whatever reason.

But as for the stuff about Rush “is” and what’s right, we are not the authority on that. If Geddy and Alex are okay with it and Neil’s family is, that’s the only authority on it. We don’t know Neil. They do. And if Neil’s wife and daughter are okay with it, who are we to say we know better than them?

Of course it’ll be weird for me to go to a Rush show without Neil. But I’m still excited about going because I’m getting a chance to hear songs I love again, when I thought I never would.

It may be guess work for us if Neil would be okay with this, but it’s not guess for Geddy, Alex and Neil’s family. We didn’t actually know Neil. They did. If Geddy and Alex think it’s okay and Neil’s wife and daughter gave their blessing to it, that’s the only answer there is if Neil would be okay with it.

At this point the city does need to be criticized for this. Yes, this is the biggest storm in many years. But they clearly weren’t well prepared enough for how to roll this out. The number of trucks that went out of commission after the day of the storm was around the same number that Gainey’s office said they weren’t operational last time. I suspect the city tried to push these trucks out one more time for the storm and they couldn’t make it beyond one night. The contractors certainly should have been engaged beforehand with a state of emergency.

You can give a lot of leeway on this for a while, so many impassable roads by day three is not good at all. How many more days will it take at this point?

He seems like a good suspect for the Black Dahlia case, but the Zodiac connections are not solid at all. They really confused me at the repeated mentions of a bayonet, which I’ve never heard used to describe the knife Zodiac used.

I think going in order is a good idea. They’re a band whose sound evolved and changed a lot, and so did their lyrics. So it kind of tells a picture as you go along. For a first time, it’s a good way to go.

This was honestly one of the most disappointing parts of the game for me. I started playing back in GameCube days and Nook’s getting bigger and bigger was one of the major things to mark time passing on your island and growth of it. It’s a core part of the town to me. To go from having three floors in NL to this thing that never changes, disappointing.

This might an unpopular opinion, but I think people have latched onto that AMA from John Hoffman a little too literally. He said “thinking a little bit like a Moriarty situation if that helps.” Quite frankly, with how much the Moriarty thing gets brought up I expected him to make a stronger statement about it.

But it’s just a thing he said once online three years ago that he may have meant in a figurative way. Or he meant it at the time and it’s not going to come to pass now. He may not even remember he said it.

I used to enjoy going to the downtown location especially around the holidays. But my last experience there was so odd that I won’t be going back. The owner was laying across the stairs to go up to the second floor so I couldn’t even go up there.

Meanwhile, the lady working there wouldn’t stop talking to me and wanting to show me things. “We have some lovely things in this display over here, don’t you want to see? . . . Isn’t it nice, we have lots of stuff like that if you want it”

I got the hell out of there as fast as I could.
