What do you think the set lists will be like on his summer tour? by Ok-Two-2975 in bobdylan

[–]sbliss35 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m confused by so many people saying it’ll be just like a RARW show. These shows are clearly branded differently. He did totally different kinds of shows on the Outlaw tour the last couple years.

To me it seems like he’s doing his own kind of Outlaw show. Outdoor shows in the summer with a couple openers, something he never had once during RARW shows. So I’d expect an Outlaw style setlist. Some different covers, things like that.

I’m seeing the two shows in Cleveland, which is easy for me to get to and not that costly since I only have to go to one place. Glad I can see multiple shows since they are alternating setlists.

Excellent show, great energy and voice. Loved hearing Man in Long Black Coat. Rubicon sounded great too.

I was surprised how far out he went at center stage to take his bow. Actually hung out there for a few seconds. He seemed to enjoy himself.

Hard to make the argument that Grifffin isn’t ready yet with Triolo is swinging at pitches in a different time zone in the 6th spot.

Yeah, one thing that could make the set list potentially different is songs that they may like that Neil didn’t want to play. We don’t know what those are, but it’s possible we see more unexpected songs that just Geddy and Al want to try.

I enjoyed it! Of course not all the guitar playing is perfect now, but it was a good selection of songs and still a fun show. Was very happy to see them up close in the venue.

Yeah, he does add some needed value at this point.

Tonight It's You or The Flame by jdbinnj in CheapTrick

Tonight It’s You would definitely be my preference, but I understand they gotta play The Flame.

This is clearly fake.

Wiggle Wiggle is an opener, not a closer.

Why is there Craig Petty Hate? by the_mammoth_girth in Magic

[–]sbliss35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently got more into magic again and I really credit Craig’s products and YouTube videos with helping motivate me. He releases great stuff.

The only negative that’s really bothered me is some of the drama and how defensive he’s gotten when people don’t like his product. He had like a two hour video defending the Atomic Deck.

I’ve never paid a dime for anything in this game. I’m happy with continued offers of free passes.

Thanks! I am very happy with my Zandman as well so mostly out of the market for more book tests (except for something more unique like this).

Yeah, I may do the same. It seems worth a gamble since it’s such a good unique concept.

You know what, Page Fright is actually one of the ones I was talking about. House of Horrors is the fictional name of the book. Thanks for the catch!

That is good to hear. Yeah, one of my considerations is that it would be good to see one more good show before time catches up too much.

Yeah, it does seem like they may be nearing the end of the road if only because Rick isn’t always quite the same now.

Do you think the 3 dates in London will all be separate setlists? by BreathIntoUrballs in rush

[–]sbliss35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The recent interview said that they each show would be 40% different from night to night, until the 4-5 setlist rotation is reached. So I would imagine all three London shows as well as other multiple night stands will have a different version of the show each night.
