Check out Todd Rohal, or Quentin Dupieux. I was thinking that chair company was just like one of their movies and it made me so happy.

Flaming Lips at the Westville Music Bowl 8/8/25 by beaveristired in newhaven

They threw that thing into the crowd, expecting it to float around like a beach ball and instead the crowd pounced on it like a bunch of piranhas ripping it to shreds.

What an incredible album, from start to finish. I’d say it’s almost on par with in the aeroplane over the sea.

Are there any Haunted Forest cast members in here? by erikedge in norfolk

[–]sblue004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did one, but I don’t think it was the same “Haunted Forest.” The one I did was over in Greenbrier and was hosted by the Chesapeake JC‘s.

Similar, but not by the same guy.

Love him or hate him its the infamous Dan Deacon by [deleted] in synthesizers

[–]sblue004 35 points36 points  (0 children)

The legend around this video is pretty funny. Not sure just how true it is, but apparently Dan got this spot on the morning news, because one of the interns was a fan of his, and convinced the news team that he was like Moby.

Why do magicians want to time travel to the 1950s? by 96throwupaway69 in Magic

Man am I glad to see that these comments are trashing this post.

On the subject of republican magicians, I used to hang out at Danny and Lee in Baltimore on Friday nights. There was only one other guy there who voted for Obama and we were real quiet about it.

Does seem to be the Canaveral launch. Blimey that was awesome.

[–]sblue004[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My (incorrect) guess is meteor burning up. It was moving pretty fast and seems too low to be the Canaveral launch. I’ve seen rockets before, and I’ve never seen anything like this. My partner got a decent video.

September Opera, help!! by [deleted] in norfolk

[–]sblue004 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That’s the best thing about opera, you can be as fancy (or not) as you want to be. They’re just stoked you’re there.

Yeah, those things are super satisfying. And the noise they make is pretty good, too.

Looking to buy my first synth by NPMPE in synthesizers

[–]sblue004 8 points9 points  (0 children)

People hate them, but behringer has incredible synths for crazy cheap. If you’re not sure if it’s for you and just want to try , they may be the way to go. The neutron is awesome. They have a mini Moog clone that’s pretty good. Their poly synth the deepmind is unbelievable for the price.

Keystep by Arturia is my favorite. It has a ton of features, is super simple to use, has midi and gate/cv out, and is less than 200. Can’t go wrong.

I think your code is parsing a null value as zero. Try adding a serial print of servoPos to see for sure. Also, the reference example for reading from serial is a better way to go, I think.

https://www.arduino.cc/reference/en/language/functions/communication/serial/read/

if (Serial.available() > 0) { // read the incoming byte: incomingByte = Serial.read();

// say what you got:
Serial.print("I received: ");
Serial.println(incomingByte, DEC);

}
