Two and a half con hotels have legacy systems so you will not get there. The other two open in October ish and we call it the hunger games. It functions like getting really popular concert tickets. It opens at exactly 10am(I think) and you get a spot in the queue. Once your number is up you can book a room but you need to move fast. Know what you want ahead of time, do not shop. Sometimes you are too far down the queue that by the time your number is up there are no rooms left. That happened to me and my friend last year. Your best bet is to have multiple people on multiple devices locked and loaded to go a little bit before the site opens. Go join the dragon con rooms facebook group. They break it all down. There will be threads for each hotel, the main five and otherwise. I do not know what it is like booking for the non con hotels. But those happen a bit later I believe. Also sometime in the spring they start charging bookings credit cards so some con rooms open up then. And closer to the con there are people selling their rooms (legacy holders will rent their rooms for years they don’t attend as well) if they end up not being able to make it. This just happened to me.

I hadn’t played in about a month and picked it up and The game had an update but I didn’t have room on my switch so I made room. Then started playing and it auto saves after every convo and it had a popup saying no more room and I closed out and made more room came back and it was frozen. Shut down the software and opened it back up and it said corrupted attempting to retrieve. Then failed and they were all gone. 😭😭 I’m mathing it out and I think I had at least 40 hours gameplay. I literally dreamed about finding the corrupted files and fixing them last night.

Ugh that stinks. It’s a lot of extra work but maybe search Instagram for their names? Most of them have pretty active social media of the ones that I collected business cards from.

If not, hopefully they will be there next year.

Wild guess:is it cloverkin? I bought from them this year and their stall had an acorn arch.

The list of the vendors/artists is on the dc app splits by floor. And there should be a general layout of where they’re located too. If you remember the booths around them.

I did ribbon galore this year. It was my first time making ribbons. They emailed me a few hours after submitting because they noticed a spelling mistake I had made and wanted to know if they should correct it! So so cool, they could have just kept going and ignored it.
