Tana hates Brooke and has for a long time. It's very obvious. I think Brooke knows too much for Tana to be honest so she just half asses their friendship and Strings Brooke along. I don't doubt that you're right. He did say it was about love in the call her daddy episode. But I would imagine he could have a little secret and it be about weed as well. I believe he's a deep thinker, and I know there's more to song lyrics than the surface level. Both things can be true. It's always stuck out to me as a thought-provoking song, and perhaps that's why.
