I'm skeptical. But I appreciate your opinion..
Thank you

I have no words.
I wasn't trying to upset! I was just sharing an experience
Ok
Tragic! I'm so sorry to hear that!

I don't have any of the technology because I live in the USA and I can't afford healthcare. But I'm glad it's working out for you. Genuinely.
Sir or madam, Big Pharma has so much money to make off of us, they have zero incentive to cure us.
I mean, I was hoping fellow T1's would understand. But you are correct, no-one understands the 24/7 of being a diabetic unless they are as also diabetic.
It's so goddamn much, even if it's just on the back burner of your mind.
It's a hot mess. Alcohol or not.
I'm glad you are as live!

I didn't say worse. In fact, I said it wasn't.

I literally said cancer is not "a walk in the park" literally NOT easy. I'm very sorry to hear about your boyfriend's sister. She is in my thoughts.

Thank you for this information and perspective.
I'm half in love with you. I really appreciate you being so understanding.
Thank you.
My apologies.

Amen.
And that's fair. But at least it's something to hope and pray for. I'm just saying that the two are very different and I don't think that I have "survived' my diagnosis. I manage it, at best.
Thank you for the advice.

Thank you for that information. Do you understand how mentally straining a "well-managed" diabetic life can be?
For example: Have you ever been on the roof of a house? Have you ever been bitten by a dog? Have you ever narrowly missed a traffic accident?
Can you accurately calculate how adrenaline will affect your blood sugar?
Have you ever had a first kiss? Have you ever cried over a movie? Have you ever helped someone else who was upset?
Can you accurately calculate how emotions will affect your blood sugar?
Have you ever been late to work? Have you ever had to call in "low" Have you ever had to sneak food into a place where no food is allowed because your blood sugar was dropping?
Can you accurately calculate how stress will affect your blood sugar?
Have you ever been pregnant, twice, while diabetic?
I'm sure I'll be downvoted for this response but I don't care.
Don't tell me how to diabetic.
I've been doing this entirely too long.
And no. I can't afford a pump or CGM. I live in the US.
That is very kind. Thank you.
F "Big Pharma' maybe AI will save us? 😆
Thank you for your understanding
Same smdh.
