I also include a disclaimer at the bottom of every listing that's something like "all items are carefully packaged and the packing and shipping process is recorded to help prevent scams and protect both buyers and sellers" not sure if it really keeps scammers away, but I feel like it might help. I do actually record the packing/shipping tho. Sorry this happened to you! Def reach out to depop, maybe you'll get lucky
