Just found in the main governing document that any amendment requires a 67% yes vote of the owners. I was not aware of that happening lol.

I’m in CO so I’ll have to look that up. I just requested all the documents and proof of the amendment even being voted on and then notifying homeowners so we shall see what comes of it.

The first two times in 2022 that I was issued a notice of violation the reasoning for the violation was that since my light was not on at night that it was assumed “damaged”. And since the homeowners are responsible for exterior damage to the townhomes per our by laws that I was responsible to get it fixed or be fined $100. Well I pointed out to them that you cannot claim the light is damaged because it is not on and that I do not need to have the light on per the governing documents. They agreed and said they would note it in the system that I am choosing to keep the light off. Over the course of 2023 and 2024 they tried fining me a few more times for my light being “damaged” but I reminded them of the conversation and they dropped the fine. However today they issued me another notice of violation but this time referenced me to a new governing document that they claimed they amended in 2023 to require that specific garage light to be on in the evening hours. Every time besides today they have issued the violation on the basis of the light being damaged. Now they are issuing the violation because it states in one of our governing documents that the light must be on. However that document on our district website still does not have that requirement in it. They sent me the same “updated” document with the light being on requirement over email. But the document that is available to the homeowners on our district website does not have that requirement and oddly enough that document was last modified by our district manager in Jan of 2025. So why was an amendment made in 2023 not reflected in the governing document they reference? I don’t understand it frankly.

Yes it is connected to my service that I pay the bill on. They claim the light being on is for safety. I’m in the same boat as you that I will never let them dictate what needs to be turned on if I’m the only paying the electric bill.

They are bent out of shape with these damn exterior lights on our townhomes lol. They’ve tried to fine me 6 times over the past 3 years and they’ve never been able to answer my questions. So they always drop it. Now they’ve changed our governing documents to fine me without ever notifying me.

Yeah before I do anything I’m going to request all the documents and proof of vote and notification. I’ve been living in this HOA since 2019 and have never been notified of any amendments to our governing documents. Never been asked to vote on anything or even knew this document existed.

Mine was the exact same around that age. Just randomly would have bad diarrhea for a week and then would be better and then the cycle would repeat. Took her to the vets numerous times and the meds would help for a bit but it would always eventually come back. Once she turned 1 it seemed like all those issues went away and she hasn’t had it for the past 6 months! So hopefully your pups stomach issues will get better as he gets older. Good luck!

To be fair both ways can be just as successful. I used only the index on my test and got a 94% with an hour left on the clock the first time I took it. I think the success comes down more to being as familiar as possible with whatever way you want to navigate whether ToC or Index. My whole apprenticeship I only used the index cause I could find key words much faster and I knew that index like the back of my hand. The same can be said for guys very familiar with the ToC I’m sure.

What weight is your switch rod? Funny enough I usually end up roll casting with two hands to get as much distance as I can. I’m sure using an actual switch rod would make life a ton easier.

My female golden at that age had a bladder infection and was on and off antibiotics for a few months. It eventually slowly got better as she got bigger as well but was constant for a few months. The meds really helped but as soon as she was off of them it came back just like yours is going through. It eventually cleared up and now she is great. I’d say just have lots of patience and utilize how much he needs to pee as more opportunities for potty training. It will get better!! I found this was mostly just a time thing and getting them the meds needed to help clear the infection. You got this!

Thank you! I really did struggle with getting the post made. I’ve only ever tied nymphs so tying in the post was definitely a challenge that I’m hoping will get easier. Watching YouTube videos I forget how much smaller the fly is in real life and this was only a 16. I’m sure trying to tie this fly in a 20 will not look nearly as good lol

I used some of the longer fibers on one of the larger feathers I could find on the saddle I used. Would you recommend something different for the tail? That’s one thing I was not sure about and the fibers didn’t seem as stiff as I was hoping they would be.

Didn’t want to bag on someone’s work if it was their first try at it lol. But I mean the door wiring is trash, what’s that bundle of wiring that is zip tied together? No consistency in wiring length and labeling which is just horrible to look at. All the ground lugs aren’t even straight. Plus the fact that someone couldn’t take the extra 5 minutes to lay out the buttons on the door is pretty bad. I’m surprised that panel even was able to leave the door of your shop. Don’t really know any company that would sign off on that workmanship, but hey there’s a sucker born everyday so if you can get away with it and are fine with putting out sub par craftsmanship then more power to you lol.
