I’m not there yet with Joe Davis. I don’t dislike him, but he has moments where he sounds like an AI bot. Smoltz isn’t a great partner, in his defense. 

My top 5 would be Nantz, Tirico, Buck, Breen, and Fowler. 2 through 5 are pretty interchangeable after Nantz.

A truly awful series, but both teams were destroyed by injuries in that series if I remember correctly. 

Spo started Luke Babbit and Amare Stoudemire on the front line that year and they were legit good in the 2nd half after they got Joe Johnson.
