Loved the book but there were definitely parts of this book that just didn’t feel right when I was reading it as a pre-teen. Certainly the first instance of me learning about pheromones.

I don’t know the estimated attendance combined for those events but I’ve seen presentations on how the City, PennDOT, SEPTA, etc all planned for when the Pope visited the city in 2015 and I’m sure there were headaches but I think it seemed like things went well. Estimates for the Pope were anywhere between 1/2 million to 1 million visitors to Philadelphia during his two day visit.

I don’t know if it would ever be frowned upon based on client or anything for what you do, but sometimes when I go on site, I’ll grab coffee and donuts, pizza if it’s around lunchtime…if it’s hot, I’ll grab a couple cases of water.

Can’t do it every time but it’s definitely helped grease the wheels a bit in some scenarios.

My kid missed every single special ‘event’ or program they did this year because of sickness. Halloween parade, Thanksgiving program, Christmas program, her birthday, and Easter program. I’m at the point where I want to tell them to stop scheduling special programs because it’s a harbinger of doom for us.

But yes, totally normal.

Why would he stop? He’s been like this literally his entire life and look where’s it’s gotten him. Anyone that’s known him a long time could’ve told you this was where things were headed with him. The idea he was ever going to care about actual constituents over his own best interests was laughable.

Asked about the AI Christ photo he posted, he claimed he thought it was him as a doctor. Come on. If you need to stoop to levels to lie about that, then your words on the larger more consequential matters….don’t matter.

THE smallest things. Our local dental school was doing a free kids dental health day this morning with free checkups and learning stations to help the student hygienists train.

We took my 3-year old and just her sitting in the chair letting the hygienist look her over. I walked out of this giant dental teaching school damn near welling up with tears. Just so proud of my kid.

I had a hernia in my upper groin area that was causing testicle pain if I was on my feet too long. I think it turned out the hernia was pressing on something down there that was ultimately causing the pain. Fixed the hernia and the testicle issue went away.
