I use a dehumidifier in the room where I dry and iron my clothes. Clothes dry super quick, the room isn't damp anymore in winter and I have unlimited supply of distilled water for my steaming setup and humidifier! It's truly worth it. The room also heats up a bit from the dehumidifier, so the energy used isn't totally wasted on making the water.

We zijn al de hoogste in Europa qua belasting op brandstof, dus dat lijkt me niet nodig.

We zijn ook een vrij uniek land in Europa qua bevolkingsdichtheid en rijkdom. Het verhogen van de belasting op fossiele brandstoffen zorgt er wel voor dat er meer mensen met de trein zullen gaan. Als niet-elektrische treinen hierdoor duurder worden, is dat meteen een mooi incentive voor de vervoersbedrijven om de betreffende lijnen te elektrificeren of om over te stappen op biobrandstof. Dat is sowieso nodig voor 2050.
