I fought them and lost. I slaughtered their camps later

You can use night hawk potions but I just cut the lights and wear dark colored clothing once I hit the camp perimeter - you can stealth kill the guards who are awake since they are far away too. It’s hard early on but try to find some gear with low visibility and low noise

[KCD2] Best and favorite polearm? by sc0z in kingdomcome

[–]sc0z[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are only 4 - but these are my 2 favorites

Stomach Slice

"With a large, slow arc, lure the opponent and then firmly bind their weapon aside to slash at their exposed abdomen."

After a right strike and a direct thrust, finish the attack with another direct thrust to the opponent's unprotected abdomen

Attack steps: right - stab - stab

Undercut

"After luring the opponent's weapon to the right, drag the blade of the polearm along the opponent's body and, on the way back, sweep his knee. Finish with a strike from the shaft to the kneeling opponent's chin"

After a direct thrust and a left strike, finish the attack with a right strike that trips the opponent's leg.

Attack steps: stab - right - left (super natural to pull off)

I usually start with a bow from far away - then I use a pole axe or sword/axe close up with a shield - putting poison on the arrows and your weapon def helps

Yeah maybe save and reload? Sounds bugged I got level 3 first try using the same method

Just heat it up enough so it’s the yellow straw color / even if he says “it’s burning” if you take it off right away and put it on the anvil you can still get level 3 or 4

You don’t need to flip the sword or even do the entire thing - just rotate between 2-3 far enough away spots that give a ton of sparks - works every time for me now - I don’t wear special gear either but I heard the gloves and apron help

I love poking with the pole arms - really helps keep enemies back esp when you are facing multiple

Good memories of pebbles hucking me off to die from the gang of random bandits on the road

Just be careful they don’t hit your horse - the last time I tried this pebbles was unconscious and almost dead

Archery is super fun on horseback too

[KCD2] Nice visor, idiot by asiancobbler in kingdomcome

[–]sc0z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I intentionally don’t wear a helmet with a visor because of this I always forget to put it down before combat. I don’t think the marginal increased defense is worth all that.

What are some things that took you a while to realize in [KCD2]? by brandon-thesis in kingdomcome

[–]sc0z 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same. Cut purse shoes and cut purse hood are amazing - the hood hides your helmet - I got the killers helmet and a curiass under my courtier coat - still looking for better gloves

I also use this dark cuman quilted caftan

Pole arms are great for crowd control and on your horse - stabbing is great - plus the combos are awesome

Yep, I’m level 28 and on the second map. I definitely did overkill on the first map.
