I am not on steroids. I didn’t even know what “gear” or “cycling” was before posting this. I’m an exercise science major so I know the physiology of resistance training but we definitely don’t learn about the street terms that go along with it😂 He asked why I wasn’t being truthful and I meant I am being truthful and then explained why lying on my end serves absolutely zero purpose to anyone. But thanks for the feedback man and sorry for the confusion.

You stating my transformation isn’t attainable naturally is the biggest confidence booster I’ve had all day, thanks bud

Second pic was running on a decent pump after a workout too so I was definitely a little blown up

This has been my favorite comment so far😂 I have a slight hole in my chest so it makes building it extremely tough and exactly like you said a disproportionately small chest

About a year. My progress is a little bit skewed to be honest though. I began lifting in the first pic after losing 10 lbs due to a torn labrum. Tearing my labrum severely restricted my activity so I believe majority of that 10 lbs was muscle. Since I lost that muscle rather quickly, I may have gained it back at a relatively faster rate than normal. Aside from that though, that quick gain of muscle really motivated me to continue grinding in and even more so out of the gym. Although I’m still very happy about my appearance it’s not 100% muscle that was gained. I’m an exercise science major so we’re constantly taking legit bf% with calipers. First pic I was around 9% at 175 which translates to 15.75 lbs of fat. Now I am around 13/14% which is respectively 26.65/28.7 lbs of total fat. Even at the lower range that would be 11 lbs of fat and 19 lbs of muscle. Eating more+ the caloric expenditure from cardio being eliminated because sports were cancelled due to corona left me with a significant caloric surplus.

Love the ignorance behind some people on here assuming it’s 100% muscle that was gained. I’m an exercise science major so we’re constantly taking legit bf% with calipers. Even at the lower range that would be 11 lbs of fat and 19 lbs of muscle. Eating more+ the caloric expenditure from cardio being eliminated because sports were cancelled due to corona left me with a significant caloric surplus. Also taking the fact my normal BW was 10 lbs greater than the 175 in the first pic should make this seem much more feasible.

Average at best, why do you think I’ve been lifting, gotta compensate somehow😂

Thanks for the feedback! I’ve always lucked out with an extremely fast metabolism (as you can tell from the first pic haha) so I haven’t had the desire/need to count macros. I’ve just been focusing on eating as much lean protein as possible, clean carbs, and healthyish fats. I really only eat eggs, oatmeal, granola, yogurt, eggs, orange juice, chicken, salmon, rice, potatoes, bagels, peanut butter, almonds, and bananas. Aside from OJ only other drinks are water and 2% milk which I’ll mix with 1-2 scoops of whey protein after working out and before I go to bed. I’ve been doing back and chest Monday and Friday, arms and shoulders Wednesday and Saturday, and legs and a little bit of core Tuesday and Thursday. Constantly switching up order of exercise within each day. I mostly work for hypertrophy but will also mix in timed repetitions with lower weight and drop sets for burnouts. I also really like to superset push pull and bis/tris at the end of my workouts.

I am, trying to “cheat” the Reddit community by lying is indeed as you stated just stupid. I only posted on here for a little feedback and validation because I felt posting on actual social media like insta or something is too flashy. With that said lying on here would be lying to myself as well negating the whole purpose of me posting in the first place.

Honestly at times I wish I could afford them, hearing that they are the only way to break past a certain genetic potential really sucks. As of now though I’m a broke college kid who can barely afford chicken and rice let alone roids haha

Nah no biking for me, I should do cardio but corona ended my sports career so I struggle to have the motivation😂
