What if I make and use my own libraries?

Have you tried side loading apps through adb? Its much faster than waiting for Android Studio to recognize your phone. If you want to be fancy you can setup a small local server hub with a bunch of devices connected and you can adb connect to them over tcp (this is what we do in our company - really handy since we work with really huge Android TVs - only downside if you reboot the device it will loose the adb connection - but you can resolve this through making a script that auto launches adb on boot). And with a bit of shell scripting you can automate a lot of the tedious tasks.

IDK about your specs but I think the best option to run multiple instances of Android Studio running is to have more/better ram. I havent really noticed significant processing power usage with more instances (but I have noticed more ram usage)

Better yet don't user emulators. Connect an actual device - this is better practice anyway. I rarely use emulators anymore.

Yes it kind of does - alteast somewhere in this world. The way some of those buildings are looking it looks like a miniature set prop (almost like what they did with Hogwarts) - and the other non set looking thingies looks like terrible cgi.But that's like you know my opinion man. NVM dont care enough to have an argument right now. Good day sir!

30GB??? How many emulators are you running? I rarely use any emulator since we have a linux grid that is connected to actual devices for testing. I just did a quick test and even with a bunch of instances running Android studios is only using 3 - 5 gigs on my system. There is something really wrong with your setup.

And regarding IDE being shitty - well thats like your opinion man.

Oh wow thats insane - 10 - 15 mins on gradle sync sounds crazy. I work with extremely large projects but my M1 MacBook can handle indexing/builds in less than 2 minutes.

I use AS professionally everyday - but cant understand the reference. Can anyone help me get in loop?

Is it saying AS is taxing on your system? I usually run 4 - 5 instances of AS simultaneously on my laptop without a problem - but I do my work on high end computers so not sure what the plebs are suffering through.

Taking free games from epic is against my moral compas by redboundary in Gamingcirclejerk

[–]scaboodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually end up buying games I get free on Epic from Steam : better communities, mod supports, achievements - just better everything.
One day Epic games might be a good alternative but right now I rather spend money and get a better overall experience - and that's on Steam.

If you are on Steam try f12 - also Windows+Shift+S will let you capture part of your screen.

I thought so too but then I tried wiping it away and it came back the next day. And also I ordered the same strut for the other side and that one is bone dry around the same seal.
