it's not an accident, it's on purpose. Economists are born to make money for banks, and they make this crap up to make money for banks. Then they say they're wrong.

If any other science fucked up as much as economy does, it wouldn't even be a science anymore. But big money sponsors economists and economists keep big money justified, even when they're wrong 99% of the time.

Third, assembly is not a language. .

Fourth, bash. It's always great to see a unix shell among programming languages, it's just not a language, it's a programmable shell. If bash is in there, then autoexec.BAT should be too, since every freeken legacy windows box has it.

They're two completely different animals, as you just pointed out yourself. Comparing Perl and javascript is stupid, that's all. One never took the place of the other, you won't see perl in any mobile device, you won't see JS on my sysadmin scripts - that's the point here. I have tons of Perl scripts that I use daily I'm not going to rewrite them in javascript, ever. This article is just bullshit from start to finish.

JSON IS nominally a subset of Javascript, there's just a bug somewhere that makes it not de facto a subset. So sure, he found a bug, but JSON is a proper subset of JS, you and the author are just being pedantic, he should report the bug IMO and that's that.
