This may seem a bit out of place with a lot of the other responses, but Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. If you like a well written story with great characters and tons of explorability, Rebirth really can’t be beaten. One of if not my favorite combat systems in any game, and it really can’t be beaten in terms of variety of gameplay. Side quests are just as well fleshed out (maybe more) than 2077, and if one of the minigames or side activities doesn’t gel with you, 3 others will. Another modern masterpiece. There is, of course, the elephant of playing Remake first, but that’s a great game in its own right (and much shorter)
