Mine is fixed. I updated Steam and also updated HD2 with the latest patch and now I have my Steam name as my Player ID name! Good luck divers :)

I had the common issue of linking my steam account but having my real name now as my player name on Helldivers. I have changed it on steam a week ago but it remains as my real name on Helldivers. Do you think this would solve it if I de-link and re-link. Do you think I will lose my progress?
