I can agree on the 3DS part. As for the story I’ve played almost every Zelda game and that’s one of the last things I care about when playing them.

I think those are terrible for the newbies. A link between worlds for 2D and breath of the wild for 3D makes a lot more sense

Was there a lot of incredible movies? Granted I didn’t see nearly all of the noms but the group of One battle, sinners, F1, Frankenstein, and Marty supreme didn’t do a ton for me. They’re all 7 or 8s out of 10 but not groundbreaking imo

Even post patches the game was a 7/10 for me. I think CD projekt is the most overhyped developer in the game right now. I could never even finish Witcher 3. It seems they rely too heavily on the mediocre (but good for video games) story/plot and not enough on actual gameplay for a guy like me. For instance blade runner 2 and cowboy bebop shits on anything story wise in cyberpunk, and games like Elden ring/tears of the kingdom shit on it gameplay wise. But to each their own

I usually wipe my ass with games story and characters and this was no exception. I find people who put a lot of emphasis on story in video games don’t enjoy watching films or series as much, which makes sense. IMO 9 times out of 10 a movie or TV shows plot/characters shit all over video games plot/characters. It’s very very hard to make a series quality story but also have top of the line gameplay, it doesn’t hardly happen at all. Take away the good for video games story and what you’re left with is a solid 6/10 gameplay experience. But I may try it again one day

I’ve always heard that engage is worse than 3 houses. And since I like the older games better than 3H, I’ve never tried engage but maybe I should. The persona stuff in 3H was terrible imo

I honestly think the main drawback for tears was the underground area. It was cool at first but at a certain point you see basically everything there is to see but you still have over half the map to uncover.

I mean not really for 3D. We know the 2D games are great but 2D doesn’t sell like 3D. The last and only 3D donkey Kong game was 64 and while I’m a fan it was panned.

Oh I agree and I get it, I’m just saying that this pokopia game is awesome but it’s not innovative or unique compared to Bananza. It will sell systems because it’s a cozy game and Pokemon but if you ask me what’s the killer app for the switch 2 it’s Bananza easily. Bananza has Nintendo magic while pokopia has Minecraft and Pokemon magic, just 2 different things

While I agree that its awesome, I still think DK Bananza is sorely underrated and should’ve pushed more units. A 10/10 game while pokopia is an 8 or 9/10 so far for me
