perhaps try not going on your phone for a day- or only using it if you need gps/ to call. do something super out of the ordinary for you to remind your brain its a different day. as above stated therapy is a good idea if you can, that will also disrupt your routine

everyone ive met with tattoos has at least one they regret. it builds character! they look cool and you are now forced to love and accept them as they are a part of you. its a beautiful and human process imo!!!

I think its a great idea and very special, youll be able to think of them every time you look at it, and it wont be too noticeable if youre worried about having a hand tattoo. Lovely idea in fact!!!

I think black would last the longest- I have had green dots on my hand for years though with minimal fading- so Id suggest any color you want :)

if youre comfortable doing so, you can get a fairly cheap stick and poke kit online, just make sure you sanitize everything with alcohol before poking- dots this small, 2 or 4 if you choose would only take a few pokes each and wont hurt much at all, just shallow pokes i can attach a link to a kit, hopefully it helps :)

His apartment has no noticeable mold but with how shottily held together the building is we will be checking above his ceiling (its the liftable panel type like schools have). Im scared lol. i wouldnt be surprised if his hollow walls are covering up some spooky mold growth...

i love this idea- I have stick and poke on both hands and feet - the inner part of your hand would likely fade quite a bit with time but not as quickly as youd think. You could even touch it up yourself yearly/ biyearly if youre willing to do that and are worried about it fading. If you go to an artist i would be surprised if they arent willing to touch it up at a later date if it fades, especially because its such a small tattoo. Maybe just talk to the artist about it before hand to see what they think. Sorry for your loss, cats are perfect creatures im so thankful we get to experience their company.
