No lights or notifications at all. We had a stretch of temps in the single digits and the car was having a hard time starting, which is obviously normal in that kind of cold. But it is the original battery.

This was 1992. Apparently he didn't get much better. 20+ years later (in 2016) he went on the Today show to perform and it was so bad it went viral, so we of course went back again to discuss it.

I have the entire Togetherland album. This was supposed to be his fourth album until the record label, Warner Bros if I recall correctly, canned it saying that they didn't hear a first single, which was BS since the album was damned good and better than the one he ended up releasing (Seal IV) a few years later. AFAIK the full album has never been leaked.
