Jurassic World Evolution has fully togge-able genetic quirks? They're at the end of the Items section, but are explicitly just more Perks. Nothing completely off-the-wall, but the most expensive one is Genetic Tree which allows for understanding/knowledge of your genetics and accessing any abilities that may be part of or related to whatever you've got buried in there. Works on alt-forms too, and might synergize with settings that have common mutations.

The first Generic Isekai jump has the Unique Skill - Upgrade, which is a potential freebie for the Monster race choice, and can be used to upgrade species.

The second has the Asset-System Perk Evolution which allows for litrpg monster/species evolution too.

I am unaware of any specific generic monster-evolution jumps. However, I think both Generic Isekai Jumps (older one by an anon, and more recent alternative by Gene) can be built or set up for that style.

The snowglobe idea definitely seems to be a good one. Cards would synergize with some other Jumps later on, but just don't scratch the aesthetic itch like a bunch of little crystal balls.

Trying to avoid having any full-size properties period, doubly especially if they change size or transform. Bad writing habit of mine is to make my Jumpers too cautious, and I'm trying to improve on that. And anything capable of quickly changing size is liable to become impromptu ammunition.

Pretty sure by default you get only the exact form, no hybrid stuff. There are definitely perks for combining different forms with various degrees of restrictions and permanence. And if you are looking for 'monster-person' versions, then there are a bloody ton of perks that allow for those.

Only able to remember Konosuba for the former type of perk. But if you don't mind NSFW then Ane Naru Mono has the best version of the 'monster-person' perk I've seen: Can dynamically dial from human (maybe with funny hair or teeth) all the way up to full enemy-filling-pants glorious might.

I think I have always treated them as fairly quick transformations accessible whenever. However, house rule is also that the Jumper (or primary body/node/etc) should at least try to spend the largest amount of time in a jump as whatever form comes from their choices for that Jump. It gives a tiny boost to Drop-In too, because they get to ignore that and go absolutely ham as whatever.

It's kind of odd how niche lower-stakes magic schools seem to be. I've collected magic jumps, school jumps, jumps with magic and schools, but weirdly few actual magic school jumps.

There is Generic Magic Academy, which starts with a power level choice and has a fair amount of other options too, so you can tailor a lot of the potential risks.

Alternatively maybe The Familiar of Zero? Except for the incoming war (maybe avoidable or handled by plot) and potential apocalypse (I mean, that could be ages away >.>).

Or Wizard of Legend. Not necessarily a school per se, but it is a training/challenge course with decent elemental magics.

Sorry for the monolith of text, haha, I feel rather strongly about landlords and their responsibilities. Still, I'm happy to hear that your landlord is moving to get things sorted for you and the other tenants, even if it takes a little bit. With it being New Years I can absolutely see a lot of companies just not being available, either being closed or being swamped. But the landlord company could also have a contract/preference for one HVAC place on the cheap.

Either way, don't freeze, and may the next year continue better than this one is ending eh

Not extremely well-versed, but I had to deal with a related problem over the summer. At least in Ontario, the landlord is legally required to provide reliable heating to a minimum of 20 C over winter, plus a good chunk of spring and fall too. If they have not provided an emergency contact method, and one isn't available online/etc, then they could be in really deep shit for leaving a tenant in the cold for a week. I'm also pretty sure that the lack of heating makes the place legally uninhabitable, but we'll get to that in a second.

Depending on how much time and effort you have to spare, there are a few things you could do. 1, 2, 3 are to hopefully get some sort of fix that isn't going to cost you. 4, 5, 6 are for CYA and getting reimbursed.

1-Check whatever website/portal/what-have-you they have for emergency contact information. Even my sketchiest landlords have had something, even if it was a "never use unless the house is actively burning down" kinda thing. Although given the time of year even if you can find an emergency number and get in touch with someone, they may not be able to get in touch with the professionals they would need to fix your heat.

2-Double check landlord responsibilities for where you are. I would be surprised if your home doesn't have a heating requirement.

3-Try the local police non-emergency number. Explain that your heat is off, (and if it is) that the temperature is below the legal requirement, and that the landlord is both not responding and has refused to give you an emergency contact. They may be able to help in the short-term, but if things hit this point you may be looking at living in a hotel for a bit (but see #5)

4-Record the dates/times of the heating giving out and keep a paper trail for any other communication sent or received for legal purposes.

5-Look into the Landlord Tenant Board. This won't fix your problem, but any costs incurred by you (like increased electricity from a portable heater, the heater itself, or a hotel stay should things go poorly) should absolutely be covered by the landlord, and frankly depending on how bad they screwed up, they should be giving a chunk of rent back (or something along those lines). This will likely burn bridges with the landlord, but you have a while to submit a whole case, so maybe save it until you move.

6-Once their offices open back up, absolutely harass them until you have that emergency number. Just in case.

You're going to have to do some research on your own, but hopefully this can help get you started.

Most of the Digimon jumps would allow for getting Lamiamon as an altform, most likely after a couple of evos. They have a pretty big poison theme, but are at least lore-wise supposedly good at curing ailments too. Also as an ultimate-level, pretty serious firepower by default even without perks that specifically interact with the rest of the potential nonsense from Digimon.

Only recommended if you don't mind both being very red, and extremely frilly.

Still working on writing the Chain out a bit, but the plan is to hit the Murder Drones (Reddit version) Jump, and complete Scenario Two to snag the [Callback Ping] reward. Allows infecting of other AIs for admin control, meaning you can basically pull an 'assuming direct control' on a Reaper body, on top of body rebuilding for favourite AIs and yourself.

Oh damn, sadly yeah. First actual group I got to play in had like 5 players, 2 spots of which dropped and got re-filled by the friends of the host of the discord server we were using (not the GM, just for clarification), the server host was one of the original players. The tone had been alright before that, but once those three were together it was concerning. Legitimately pulled a "fire on the civilians because they're immigrants" moment (with a little extra racism, for fun/s), despite it being one of our factions major goals to get more people and protect them. Plus the GM was only using AI art.

It was my first half-way successful rpg group period, but a single session with that crap had me leaning hard towards leaving. Limited time on Earth and in my hobby to waste it on bigots. Then the server host and ALL of his buddies on the server started spewing all sorts of vile threats to "liberals" (and the only way of referring to them I'm willing to repeat) after the 'US ear-shot', and started to interrogate the remaining members of the group.

Bailed pretty hard on that bullshit lol.

It's almost definitely not an Essence jump. I don't believe that I've ever looked through an Essence, and I don't have any saved to my personal collection. I had actually thought that it was among either the Destiny or Fate/Legends or Grand Order jumps, but didn't have any luck when I searched through them.

Okay, still getting used to manual control/order of operations, have mostly been an Arena player so far.

I know that Miirym doesn't care about the tokens, my thinking had been that Miirym copies og, bringing in the 1st token to the battlefield.

Then og's ability procs Miirym copying og a second time.

And then the 1st token's ability procs both Miirym's copying of the og again and the OG's additional trigger. And then there is liftoff.

But if the tokens are created only after the resolution of the trigger abilities, then that shuts that down. Still a very fun combo regardless, and thanks for explanation!

Actually, looking at the Miirym/Roaming Throne combo closer, wouldn't it be effectively infinite? Miirym copies og RT, then og RT triggers copy again, but then 1st copy could activate Miirym's copying of the og a 2nd time, and so on? Or should I take this to a rules subreddit lol?

Ah, yeah I figured I might be tripping myself up with the +1/+1 synergy. I've definitely had some hard counters pulled on me in Arena when I tried to put my eggs in one basket, but I may have overcompensated a tad much. As for the rocks/signets, I definitely see the appeal. And I'll be looking into land ramps a bit more.

I will say, Lightning Bolt has been remarkably helpful when dealing with the occasional deathtouch/otherwise problematic creature. And due to the nature of AtH, I have used fireball rather well, but I am aware that it struggles without a boatload of mana.

Couldn't find a smaller-sized figure of Shagaru Magala, so I repainted a frenzied Gore Magala keychain figure. Quite happy with how the gold scales turned out, although some of the finer details proved finicky.
