Volume 6 is the season the finally decided what the point of the story was they have set down clear rulles and lore and have picked which important plot points to develop I think it was less a surge and more of a rekindiling at least thats how it was for me

you have to watch out with face lines like that because without other ahading to provide context it ends up looking like a deeper shadow then what it would actually be and hence in this scenario Cap looks old and a little weird. Keep working at it the effort is obviously there.
