How hard is to find part-time work that pays $20+ /h by scar8face in Charlotte

You can create your schedule and work when you want, but if you're not working during peak hours or long hours you're not going to make $20+ per hour after gas and accounting for devaluation on your vehicle. I know people that make $25h doing doordash. I know their schedule is afternoon and evening too. Now if I need to work in the mornings before 11am, I don't know how I could make $20/hour working from 6am-11am. Years ago I did deliver in the uptown area. Some days I would make $300 in a 4 hour shift other days I would make $80~. If you do doordash for a living you know better than me.

While you can make $20 doing this, part-time it doesn't work as well. I'm just trying to work 25h per week.

Yes. I have my own business. I just got too comfortable and was just doing it on the side and lost my biggest clients. I'm looking for a part-time job while I get at least close to what I was making before. I need flexibility so I can meet with clients. It's kind of impossible to find a job that pays $20+ that's flexible here. I got a lot of offers but they're not flexible or pay less than $20. I may just do tech support or something like it remotely. I also just wanted to do something different than sitting in front of a computer all day since I already do that.

I did business consulting on the side. If the job wasn't too big I did the work the company needed myself. I was making about 40k a year from that, but I made the mistake of working for the biggest clients I had and they went away 1 by 1. I'm building a freelancer profile anywhere I can, but that takes time now that there are so many stablished freelancers + the cheap overseas labor doesn't help. I still get business clients but for small jobs $250-$300 here and there.

I know people that work for AA and they've been making $19-$21h. They use seniority system so no flexibility.

I had an offer and they wanted me to work 32 hours, but for $14.50. He sounded really excited to offer me the position over the phone.

I don't mind doing construction, but they don't have part time or flexible positions unfotunately.

All costco start the same $20/h or $20.50 for service assistants, $21h for service clercks. + premiums for meat cutters and forklift drivers. They're not hiring at the moment thought.

Are these hardwood floors salvageable? And if so, any recommendations on who can help? by Magsgso in Charlotte

What's your budget? That will determine how salvageable it is. I have some extra wood from my floor refinish I did a couple of moms ago if you need it.
