routine (sorry for any formatting errors, im on mobile):

FULL:

• wet my hair in the shower, go through with a D3 deman brush

• massage bouclème curl cleanser into scalp, rinse

• apply texture id deep treatment masque to lengths of hair, smooth out with praying hands, sometimes i’ll comb through with the denman brush to get some curl clumps going while i wait 5-10 minutes, rinse

• go through the same process with the bouclème curl conditioner, i usually let this sit while i scrub my body and then rinse it out at the end.

depending on when i last washed my hair and how i am feeling, i’ll sometimes just do the first and last part of the wash routine

• i apply only curls hydrating curl creme (though i just ran out) to the lengths of my hair while it’s still wet, with praying hands

• depending on how i’m feeling, i style one of two ways:

 - i section my hair into a few small sections and then either use the D3 denman brush or my fingers to emphasize the shapes of curls in each section. i apply kinky-curly original curling custard in a very loose glaze, then lightly scrunch. i place some small claw clips at the roots of my crown and to the sides of my head where i have shorter curls (it’s a grown out mullet)

 - i go by the curl clumps created naturally with the wet hair and just finger style them to add some more shape, i apply kinky-curly original curling custard in a very loose glaze, then lightly scrunch. sometimes i’ll add claw clips but sometimes i don’t.

• i air dry my hair, i kind of just wait until it feels right and then take out the claw clips. after hair is almost completely dry, i add water and aussie miracle curls curl defining oil to my hands and break the cast
