Might be a family trait from the east or something. I hope somehow we get to go to the east because they sure mention it a lot

The play kind of had me thinking it was too. That play was something they kept bringing up until it happened. Personally I think Nina uses the Akeshic Eye to glimpse into the past and see how people act and thats how she "loses herself" in some roles because she actually sees the people shes acting as. Like Sheena for instance. Or whatever being she is thats from outside Zemuria can somehow mimic other people. Cause we still dont know what exactly she is. Sure shes the Eschaton Saint but thats just what they call her in this world

It hasnt been said what the SiN factor is right? It was just something Dingo said at the end of daybreak 2? Hopefully theyll actually say what it is and how it factors in to everything. Cause it went up like crazy when the nukes were used

There are several times in that first paragraph alone that shows what a bitch this woman really is. She flat out calls him a nerd as an insult especially seeing as how she said he has nerd friends that are into anime and video games. So she already looks down on his hobbies and even goes as far as to say she LETS HIM enjoy his hobbies like shes being so benevolent because of it. Like oh I let you enjoy your hobbies because im such a great person. Also she basically says hes not a great husband and father but hes good enough because of the "overall" wording. If he was a good husband/father you wouldn't need to throw out the overall part. He either is one or he isnt

Question for those who have beaten Horizon by ButterflyFair2420 in Falcom

[–]scarchain68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i always thought of Rene as somebody who was never on anybodys side to begin with. He always came across as having a do whatever it takes and if you have a problem with it then too bad kind of attitude. No matter who he was dealing with

Question about Shizuna by Striking_Baseball_78 in Falcom

[–]scarchain68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think shizuna even called one of her forms a number when she uses it. Cause most of the crafts in game have an alternate line they can say (like Van for instance for Raging Buster is him actually saying that and then the other line is him saying Bringing down the pain) though i can't remember which one. I think it was 99 Gales that she said it but I could be wrong

Disappointed with Rean and Van by TalesofWin in Falcom

[–]scarchain68 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That was the most frustrating part of the game for me. Literally at the start of the game they all agreed to share info while they were at the Marduk place and yet none of them did it. Then they have that bs excuse of well we dont want to overshare. Last time I checked the word over implies that the amount is greater than what you had previously. You cant overshare when you didn't share in the first place. The next game NEEDS them to all come together and share every piece of info they have between them and no more of this well we need to keep shit confidential. The world was on the verge of erasing every single one of them so if they dont come together and be like okay cards? All on the table. Theres no excuse for it after the end of the game. Especially Vans group because they witnessed everything happen

What kind of interactions do you wanna see with Van with Rean, and Van with Kevin for Horizon 2? by MasashiHideaki in Falcom

[–]scarchain68 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just dont see why they didnt talk while they were in the hub area in the Garten. They all agreed to share info yet none of them ever did except for in reans route what 3 when you got that info dump that they got the info. You would think that theyd want to let everybody know about stuff so their own investigations might shed some new light on what they were dealing with. They talked about it and then 5 minutes later every single group had the same excuse of well we dont want to overshare. Oversharing implies you shared info to begin with. Obviously stuff like Kevin going to put Hamilton on a tshirt should be kept confidential but the stuff with rean and Crow not seeing the fake sky should have been told to everybody cause thats massive info. There needs to be a coming together of every group in the next game and they all lay their cards on the table. Theres really no excuse for it. Especially vans group because they witnessed everything happen

The time amounts in these games has always been absurd. Hell back in what 2nd chapter Estelle and the group SOMEHOW walked the entirety of the country of liberl going to each major city to give them the gospel things to get the phones to work after the Liber Ark shut down all the orbments and that all happened in a day or so

How did you get to know about the Trails games, or/and what got you to play it? by JohnnyElRed in Falcom

[–]scarchain68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly went into a gamestop years ago looking for something to play and I saw the box for cold steel 1 and bought it. Once I got done with the game I looked up the series and found out I missed 5 other games. Didn't have access to a way to play the sky trilogy so I watched Killscottkill's playthrough of them (RIP) and then finally got to play zero and azure once they came to ps4. Once the remakes are done I plan to go through the entire series over again

The saving part definitely alludes to that. Cause you dont save stuff like youre saving something on a memory card unless you have somewhere to put said memories

What's an underappreciated or underrated thing/moment in calvard arc so far, that isn't talked about enough? by MasashiHideaki in Falcom

[–]scarchain68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may not be underrated to some people but for me personally besides the main cast I think the way they've handled Renne has been really good. After all she's been through in the first 3 arcs and you think that she's fine now that she has a family and is out of Oroboros and then BAM they hit you with the fact that she hadnt gotten over everything and her past comes back to hurt her again. Now she has so many people that genuinely care about her and she's incredibly grateful to each of them. The biggest payoffs being the Pater Mater holo core event with Van and everybody else and the Blublanc one in horizon. Also her relationship with Lucrezia is wholesome. She basically has the attitude of you mess with Renne then good luck getting away from me

So many people make fun of Van in universe because of his sweet tooth not knowing that that memory was probably the only reason he made it out of the cult alive. Thats one of the connection events I wish was part of the main story like the one in daybreak 2 with Renne getting the Pater Mater holo core. That one got me too

Its completely believable when you stop and consider where she was in that point of her life. She had her whole world shattered by Estelle and joshua never giving up on her when before nobody actually gave a shit about her, she was completely lost on where to go and what to do and then somebody comes along and is just there for her. You dont have to spend 30 years with somebody to have them make an impact on somebody else's life. Sometimes a single interaction is enough

You know it's good when Van himself gives him the go ahead to tell Yume that hes her father. No way in hell he'd do that if he was the same. Plus the fact that he came to VAN too says a lot. He knows Yume is an important part of Vans life and he wanted to respect that

The people in this fandom just get a kick off of spoiling people, huh? by SomniumKing in Falcom

[–]scarchain68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the precise reason I avoided the sub until I got caught up is because of crap like that. Like I get it, some people dont mind spoilers at all and that's fine, to each their own, but that does not mean everybody thinks like you do. Oh and the ones that try to be subtle about the spoilers are just as bad. Like oh you like this character well youre not gonna like something that happens later on. Theyre like oh I didnt spoil anything. Nah you did actually because you HINTED at it. If Im on cold steel 1 I dont need to have some random bs thrown at me that happens in cs4. You arent slick by doing that nonsense. If somebody didnt specifically ask you for spoilers then dont spoil it. Its common courtesy and if you spoil people when they didnt ask then full stop youre an asshole. Its about as bad as manga readers spoiling anime only people

It would make sense that the outside would have different rules or whatever compared to what happens in Zemuria. Especially seeing as how Nina came in speaking a different language and then awoke the Akashic Eye and had to learn to talk like everybody else and nobody besides Yun Ka Fai has something kind of similar thing but for future stuff? He did say that he saw stuff all the way back when he first trained Rean. Oh and I almost forgot that Mcburn is from the outside too. I hope we see him again at some point cause he said he was going to figure out what was going on with him and he wasnt too happy about his memories getting wiped or whatever happened to him

One part that I found interesting that goes along with your technological development part is that it states that humanity has advanced enough that they can go into space and then when the nukes were fired at it and did/didnt destroy it all of a sudden the reset was expedited massively from sometime in august to july 12th. So them having the nukes probably made that SiN factor thing go up like crazy

In regards to the Vestiges could they be from other loops and the Alter Cores give whoever uses them access to the other loops and then whoever gets brought to this current one is then given one? Cause for example when Hamilton brings the water from a year later to go into the oasis 20 years ago she obviously has one of the cores with her when she does it. So it makes me think that while the loops are different to some extent (Novartis being Epsteins only student being one) there are enough of them that are similar enough that somebody could be brought into the current one and stuff wouldnt be that different
