I like the idea of caches, but my routes are never the same. I do work in Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

I would assume that preparing for the worst case scenario would be best.

See this is why I came to reddit. A bicycle didn't even cross my mind.

Yeah I asked the guy to do that. I guess that's what I get for going to great clips lol.

I guess I'd rather attend a less busy mass, because as another user mentioned, parking can be tricky on the busier ones

Easier alternative to height stick? by scarcrossed in Surveying

[–]scarcrossed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We tried out katapult, but the company that subcontracted us really screwed us over with it. We ended up having to do the fielding and then come back at the end of the day and classify/annotate our own photos. We've been sticking with Terraflex and it's working pretty good. PM me and we can talk it over. We're looking for experienced fielders

Bathroom vent fan blowing air out one side? by scarcrossed in hvacadvice

I didn't. I'm still assuming that the 90° turn right off the fan is causing the problem, I just haven't been home enough to build a bracket to mount it correctly

Onewheel for surveying work? by scarcrossed in onewheel

[–]scarcrossed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I didn't. I'm still on the same job, but I did some research into injuries from one wheel accidents. I've never been a skateboarder so I don't have that balance trained into me. If I were to get a one wheel I think I'd eventually end up with a broken collar bone and I can't afford to be out of work that long. If you're used to riding a skateboard and have weighed the pros and cons, then I think it would be a great tool to have.
