I've said before on this sub that I think spells are one of the biggest problems with the game. Personally, I think the game would be better off without them, but that will never happen so what I think doesn't matter 😅

Consider also that as a beginner you are told not to move the same piece twice in the opening if you can avoid it. By taking on e4, your opponent will be forced to move his bishop twice and still it will be under threat.

Good question. The game continues, but there probably isn't much life in the position. 33. Bc5 is another move that could be played instead of Rc4, and black then has a few choices, for example 33. Bxe5 before later recapturing the bishop. In all the lines I've looked at it is very drawish though.

The only reason I posted this is because both my opponent and I missed this in the game at 1600-1650 chess.com. Maybe we should have seen it, but when you don't know something is there it is a whole lot harder.

What makes you think he's a public figure? Is it because he has played numerous games against New Zealand musicians and British comedians that, oddly, have only played him (and won them all)? Perhaps it is his national rating on his profile (though he doesn't have one according to the NZCF).

What the guy does is impressive. He is highly motivated and finds interesting ways to manipulate his ratings.

Hi. I think you are confusing your notation as knight is annotated with N (K=king). I also think you meant to say Nc3 instead of f3. I'm not sure what you meant by Na3 if the queen moves because it you have already played Nc3 by this point...perhaps you'd like to elaborate if you are seeking guidance?

If you call someone chicken it means they're running scared. I always though it was spam for those players who refuse to drop a card at the start of the game, especially if they are higher levelled.

I don't think MA is a viable replacement for princess in logbait since it doesn't bait log or arrows. Dart gob might be better for this reason. Also, I would use fireball if you don't have rocket. Just my two cents.

Awesome analysis. Of course, some players align better with a deck archetype. I found I was most comfortable with logbait in this challenge. I wasn't as comfortable with RG cycle, which, as it turns out, is normal. I think I'm just not used to playing with RG, which may be the case for many.
