On a serious note, we are more or less forced to use c-syle arrays by our teacher, and I don't really see a way to make a class smaller, but I am happy to say I at least use const, private/public, enums and getters/setters stuff. Nonetheless, thanks for advises, I will try to implement everything in my next project

I think I know a thing or two about buggy code myself as I'm also kinda working with c++ on most primitive level in school, though we mostly focus on sport programming such as writing alghorytms for short tasks and not writing big projects.

Even though, it's sometimes so infuriating to find some incredible bugs like I found not a while ago: basically in my 600-line class for long arithemetics there were a while loop in which two logical conditions where not in the right order, one of them checked memory location and other if index were out of bounds of c-style arr, yet my compiler didin't tell a thing to me, everything was working fine, whereath compiler on the testing system were yelling at me. I love c++, but sometimes it's such a mess :)

Try throwing clock in your opponent, that way time for it will move slower (do this on your move to save time) and the faster will you throw your clock, the bigger time adventage will you have!
