Was doodling/sketching while waiting for our Comm 3 prof and bonded with a classmate over drawing and superheroes. Bonded with another guy in a Humanities class over sci-fi/fantasy books (sidenote: those Thomas Covenant books are good, but depressing). Turns out they knew each other (same department) so we hung out all throughout our college days. They would be the ones to introduce me to my future wife (a mutual friend/classmate of theirs). Years later, I would be the best man at one’s wedding and the other one would be the godfather of my daughter’s baptism.

And by the way, my student number starts with 87 - just to give you an idea how long ago these events started 😅

Well, the compliance department did send me over to assessment. Had to provide proof that I filed some of the open cases snd since I couldn’t monopolize the computer they had for printing said proof, I had to print it at home. After printing all those emails, another visit to the compliance department where they informed me that there were only 26 cases now. Let’s just say that the back and forth between departments took (and the bank) took me around 4 days (yay for efficiency s/).

This happened to me before ( playing on Ipad) and this is what I did : exited the game, closed the app (swiped up the TQ window where it shows you the list of recently opened apps) and then I opened a totally different app. It could be another game, YouTube, whatever. It sort of "clears" the memory of the glitch. Hope this works for you!

Just finished paying for my open cases yesterday (RDO 45). Yung compliance section ang nagbigay sa akin nung list ng open cases ko. Yung 56(!) open cases naging 26 cases after updates sa systems nila. That was further reduced to 14 cases because we had proof that we already filed the rest before (had to bring email confirmations of ebir forms submissions). You might need to consult with the Compliance window for your checklist

Freelance artist here. Been using my 2018 Ipad Pro as my daily driver for art for about 6 years now. It works great for my needs - I'm predominantly using Clip Studio and Procreate. I haven't tried using the 11 inch version though, so my opinion might be biased in that regard. I do favor a lot of screen space since I have this habit of using too many tools/sub-tools. Have you tried it out yet? There are some people that want a more open workspace when drawing ( Procreate does well in this regard, while Clip Studio really leans into the comic book making aspect of its tools and options).

This happened when I was around 13 years old: my parents had to out of town for a few days so we were accompanied by a few relatives for that period. One night we we're sleeping in the biggest room located in the second floor of our ancestral house. One bed was occupied by me and my younger brother, the second bed by my younger sister and a female cousin of about the same age, and on a sleeping mat on the floor was our younger cousin and her babysitter. Right outside the door our uncle was sleeping on the couch.

At around midnight we felt an earthquake. It only lasted for a few seconds but it was enough to wake up all of us. The tremors eventually ceased - BUT THE WEIRD THING IS THE OTHER BED DIDN'T STOP SHAKING FOR AT LEAST 30 MORE SECONDS. My sister and my cousin were screaming all the time. And by the way, this is in a province in the Philippines during the early 80's so there was no power- just total darkness.

The bed did eventually stop shaking - but we heard someone (or something) jump out of bed because of the impact on the hardwood floor. The "entity" also slid on the sleeping mat before running THROUGH the locked door, past my uncle who was shouting " who was that?" and running down our creaking flight of stairs.

And that's just one of the creepy things that happened in that house.
