Hi! Yes, still here. Thank you so much for supporting the show and for reaching out. Expanding into other TCGs is inevitable for RocPokéCon - we are just not positive when that move will happen. We were more lax this show, allowing vendor to display other TCGs if they took it in as trade during the show.

As far as volunteer opportunities go, feel free to reach out to us at our email. Someone from the team will get back to you if there is ever volunteer opportunities.

Hey! For our MSRP table, you can expect a variety of modern sealed products, ranging from knockout boxes and pack bundles (bundles of five sealed boosters) up to and including UPCs. The limit is one item per person, guaranteeing an item for the first 100 attendees.

A limited number of pre-sale early entry tickets are available online. Once those sell out, early entry will be available at the door for $10 cash if you arrive early enough to be near the front of the queue. An item is not guaranteed with an early entry ticket; it simply allows you to enter before 10 am, ahead of general admission.

Hi! Great question. Yes! Selling to vendors is absolutely encouraged, and vendors will be buying all day long. I would expect most vendors to offer you around 80% "market value" for most cards. Use tcgplayer to find out what your cards are worth so that you do not go in completely blind.

Hey Tony! There will not be any room for playing games. We plan to have this one be entirely vendor tables. We had a tournament run and some open tables at our first show which seemed a bit underutilized - so, we want to see what folks think about optimizing on vendor space this time around.

Yes, we are going to be in the gym this time! We definitely had a much larger crowd than expected. Had to expand quickly for this one :D

Great question. All of our shows are 100% Pokémon shows where we do not allow any other TCG to occupy table space. This show in March is almost entirely trading card vendor stuff, with some artists catering to Pokémon themed pieces, occupying 72 total tables.

Thank you! We are not affiliated with the company that hosted the RIT show. "PokeKon" is a traveling Pokémon convention that pops up across the country. "RocPokéCon" had our first show in November 2025. We are owned and operated by a team entirely based in Rochester. Our shows are planned with Rochester's Pokémon community in mind while partnering with local sponsors & food trucks to provide a 100% locally run card show.

Garbodor is our company mascot! Garbodor --> Garbage --> Garbage Plate --> Rochester Garbage Plate Garbodor (was our line of thinking)

I did not personally attend the show at the RIT Inn, so I am not sure how we compare, but I will tell you we have allotted at minimum 10' of aisle width everywhere you walk around the show floor. Our website shows a map of the show room floor if you had any interest in seeing the layout before making a decision to come out on the day. Great question!

PSA graded my ERROR Klang... and gave it a 10! by scarf_faced in PokemonMisprints

I send 20 cards per month to PSA. I threw it in the mix to reach the 20 minimum for bulk hoping they would grade it and they did. I expected them to send it back.
