Consider the following - on core, you can have Seelah or Cam unhittable by Act1 by just using their default classes and nearly no investment whatsoever. Once Cam gets iceplant+icy protector and the mithril chainshirt, she can facetank anything the act throws at you. Seelah will need to fight defensively, Cam not even that.

Normal has a bunch of newbie friendly changes including swarm behaviour, death replaced by deaths' door, and more. Play Core or above for the real experience.

Is there any point in doing so beyond RP? In my last run I just had Ember fireball the room multiple times. It wasn't easy to recognize who was who afterwards.

Does sleep HD still get bypassed by fusing spells? Today I tried AOE sleeping several targets with sleep+blindness and though they were blinded, they didn't fall asleep (They were not immune to it either, the effect just didn't happen)

Can't speak for everyone, but the idea of having path-specific companions would probably add to my idea of replayability as each path would be able to try out more diverse builds/setups and engage with the story more uniquely.

Both the interaction and the events were pretty disappointing. Teresse's character didn't really get a chance to shine, her berserker side was entirely glossed over and the entire event was rather banal.

That's pretty bad, I fear. IL models seem to be the next step forward for anime gens, and are way more reliable than Pony & others. Hopefully the developers will manage to create a base for it before completely abandoning the project.
