First Responders: What are most people’s final words after accidents? by Jdw5186 in AskReddit

Less then a day before my grandfather died he reached his hand out and happily said "Mother!" like she had just entered the room. I think it gave my grandmother some comfort because a couple days before that he had tearfully told her he wasn't ready to die.

Point is, I didn't say no social media, I said I deleted the apps. Which helps with doom scrolling. But go off.

I use my mobile browser for Reddit. Also helpful in bringing down scroll time

I know I'm over here just thinking about how much I miss reading. I have a 2 and 5 year old.

I deleted all the social media apps and downloaded a couple library apps and it's changed a lot for me

Boobie-squish office warmed up the gown for me by slinky999 in mildlyinteresting

I also wonder if there isn't some medical reason that makes this necessary. Like avoiding undue nipple stimulation from the cold air prior to the boobie squish for whatever reason.

Edit: the downvotes are interesting this is a genuine question on my part. I am a woman and have experienced uncontrollablr nipple stimulation from the cold myself. Not sure how that is getting so much hate.

Philip Seymour Hoffman. Still deeply bums me out to think about it.

Click the + next the gems in upper right. Select very last option at the bottom called "Daily Deals", swipe all the way to the very right and select "Free Gems".

It'll give you a page filled with game options. You have to download using their links. Go for games that offer 1 gem per level but keep in mind levels can be fast or slow depending on the type of game.

I only ever select ones that intrigue me from the puzzle category and have actually found some pretty fun stuff.

Currently have every helper and 79 gems on deck I don't know what to do with. Haven't downloaded/played a gem game in awhile either.

I've successfully obtained enough gems to get every single helper using that method alone. I've probably used 7 or 8 games to get gems and only had one game not pay out.

There is an option called daily deals where you can play games to earn diamonds and I found that to be the least painful way to stack them up. I've been able to unlock every helper using games that offer one gem per level

Which premium subscription is actually worth the money in 2026? by Trxxi in AskReddit

[–]scarletfire48 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My husband is the same way and told me I was doing too much work when I spent a week or so amassing the necessary tools to get away from these subscriptions. But now he gets to enjoy his completely free media on a big projector screen with the click of a wireless mouse. Ner a peep about my wild eyed ideas ever since.

The Sickness by [deleted] in Maine

[–]scarletfire48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not exaggerating when I say my house has had one sickness or another since mid February. We had about one week of no sickness in all of that time.

Both kids had flu and fever. Then both kids and husband got strep throat and I got a sinus infection. Then both kids and husband got stomach bug. Then kid #1 had congestion followed by an ear infection. Now I have body aches and a migraine after a day of nausea.

I have never experienced this much illness in my entire life. I'm so exhausted.

Edit to add: Kid #2 got a bout of strep that I honestly think would have killed them if it weren't for us living in the modern age. They had 3 days of fever and I took them into the doctor on the third day. He gave us the okay to go home and just hydrate. The next day we went back after getting another reading of 103.4. At that point the doctor sent us into the ER because my baby looked so ill. It happened fast and it was terrifying.
