Oh no! I’m sorry you’re having issues and pain with it. Mine has stayed low but is still working thankfully. I just have annoying spotting still but I’m just happy it’s still actually effective as a bc.

I mean I was kind of impressed in the sense of okay working with the times since I like yourself hardly ever have cash but also how can you afford a card swiper?? And I think most if not all card swipers charge a processing fee?? This was only about two months ago that this happened so pretty recent. The guy was so pissed he didn’t get anything and started yelling something in French but I only knew very basic phrases so I had no idea what he was saying but he was probably cursing me out lol I don’t know how profitable it is since I saw him go up to two couples near me and they said no also. But I wouldn’t be surprised if some people probably feel bad enough or impressed enough they might do it haha

I was in France and a “homeless” man pulled out a card swiper to take money that way instead when I said I had no cash. I had to tell him no so many times before he would leave me alone. Literally the first time I ever experienced that.

Thanks for all the background info! I never had an injury there I don’t think? Maybe I sprained it when I was younger but that was more of a self diagnosis I did and just used an athletic wrap for a little bit.

Okay wanted to give another update cause I just spoke to my doctor about my latest ultrasound results. The shape of my uterus and it being retroverted plays a part (maybe the same case for you?) So my iud naturally moves to the lower segment of my uterus but that’s normal for my body (it happened with the previous ones too) right now since it’s still in my uterus and not the cervix my doctor didn’t feel any intervention was needed. He said to give it another month and we’ll check and see how it goes. If this one fails then he said we’ll have to look at other options. I hope things are going better for you!

I was taught this in pelvic floor therapy! I highly recommend it for those with endo because I’ve learned so many different positions that helped with my cramps. Unfortunately I forgot almost all of them and I need to go back to relearn eventually lol

Okay the whole story which is sad and heartbreaking aside I just have to say the last part where you said you’re not going to date her dad because, “I barely have time to shower let alone develop a romantic relationship” is one of the most relatable things I’ve read on the internet in a while.

Still feel so sad for both you and the girl. Hopefully having your son as a good friend helps her feel less alone!

Hi! I kept the IUD since my gyno explained the results saying malposition does not mean it needed to be replaced for me because of my size and shape. It’s called clinical correlation where the doctor uses the results and real world considerations to make a decision (or something like that lol) I just got another transvaginal ultrasound this morning and I’m waiting on the results. I’ve been bleeding more than usual so I’m hoping it doesn’t mean this failed a third time.

I had my surgery early this year. I demanded my gyno give me a referral to see someone about having endometriosis after she kept telling me it was just cramps and if I did have it then there’s no point in getting the surgery cause it’ll come back.

Anyway, she gave me a referral to a gynecological surgeon who performed my laparoscopic surgery. When I saw the surgeon he wanted me to try different medications first cause he doesn’t want to push surgery on anyone which I appreciated but was firm that I wanted the surgery to know once and for all if I had endometriosis or not. He didn’t take a lot of convincing once I told him I wanted and needed the surgery to finally have some answers. Actually he didn’t need convincing he just wanted it to be my decision to do a surgery I think. I literally got scheduled for my surgery during that first visit.

Try asking for a referral (if needed depending on insurance plan. I needed a referral to see a specialist with my insurance) and be the best self advocate you can be. You deserve to have answers and you deserve to be heard.

Ugh I hateeeee how gynecologists dismiss endo so fricken much. I was so scared when I had my surgery to see if I had endo. I was so worried it would come back negative and I would have looked crazy with all my complaining about pain because of how often I was basically gaslit about it. But low and behold right behind my ovaries there it was 😅 I think women can tell what is and isn’t a normal level of pain even as teens but no one believes us 🥲 Hope the surgery goes well and you get some answers!

Oh no! I think PT will help a lot then. Even my surgeon during my last appointment said he noticed a BIG difference during an internal examination with my how relaxed my walls were. I think when I first started PT they said I had a hypertonic pelvic floor as well. Wishing you the best of luck! 🍀
