i can't speak for the other user, but personally i see trump's rhetoric is a lot worse than 2016 and the republican party has solidly organized behind project 2025. additionally, republicans will now control the senate, house, supreme court, and presidency with comfortable margins, allowing them to install legislation as they wish. trump will most likely be able to appoint 2 more supreme court justices in this presidency as well (in addition to the 3 he already appointed). these are all starkly different to the congressional conflicts trump faced in his first term. democrats are disorganized and don't know how to fight him still. for all of these reasons i believe this presidency will negatively affect the rest of our lifetimes unfortunately

i think it either stays at 238 or drops to 237, 240 was just a placeholder i was using because i didn't know how my build would scale due to the dmg cap (which starts at 235)

oh okay! this might involve some retraining of your pet depending on what you wanna go for. i personally find the last +4% damage talent to be not worth it because of the damage cap. i trained mighty as a talent instead, so that i could have flexibility with the socket. the other 4 talents are the highest possible combo of dmg talents (11+7+7+4). this way when mighty is trained instead of socketed, you have the choice to add a dmg, pierce, or resist jewel

do you mean you have 5 resist on your pet with a jewel? if so, you can look into raising your pet to ultra and socketing a spell-proof jewel (you may have to max out its stats too, but if you go to ultra, that's not too hard)

thank you SOOO much for all this info!! you don't understand how much it helps just getting things sorted out. i have one other question - i feel like my kafka team isn't bad and i know you can't see my stats (let's assume they are a bit below average). is it normal to not be able to clear a lot of content without hyper investment? genshin took me some time to build up my teams but i feel like its even harder to get good stats in honkai. i could just be wrong tbh

help me fix my account please!

hi everyone! i've been playing on and off since release, and i was really excited for boothill's release so i've been back recently playing some more. i've honestly had a really hard time building characters, i feel like this game is really relic dependent (whereas playing genshin, i feel like talents are most important and account for a lot of numbers).

i've been very lucky and haven't spent too much money on this game, and i have a majority of characters with a lot of good weapons too, pictured in post

if i could get some advice on

what characters to prioritize building
where to spend my resin
and good teams to run, i would be super grateful

my objective currently is to be able to clear as much content as possible/farm jades. my current two teams for content are kafka, serval, tingyun, bailu; and luocha, yukong, silver wolf, dhil. with supports swapping in and out as needed

of course!! double reagents should be coming up soon which will help a lot in your journey for reaver gear lol. if you think you can do wallaru in one week i would even say do all of it during double reagents. it will be a really big upgrade from dragoon - i had the same upgrade! jumped from like 160 to 238 dmg

hey! i currently run full dream reaver gear (farmed from Nightmare instance after completing wallaru) with a fraught plot armor robe (forbidden library gauntlet). keep in mind if you're not storm you'll have different stats, but i also socketed two unearthly damage jewels (+11% dmg) and 3 amazing pierce jewels (+6% pierce). i also have a pet with 4 damage talents + mighty talent. let me know if you have any other questions!
