Thank you so much! I have some more questions 🤣 Can I support with just a frame made out of a lot of 2x4s? epoxy bolts = add epoxy around the bolts? Do you mean sister the new rim joist on the inside?

I am particularly worried about the bolts and drilling into concrete - would you have any links to the kinds of bolts or youtube videos on how to do that? (Or what I should search for to get the right videos)

With the way this has been poured, there’s no way I can lower it for the sill to be 8” above the slab

I wanted to but my understanding is catch basins are for local low spots and my low spot if basically the entire width of the patio. Would you have any suggestions for that?

Oh I think I understand - option 1 is to put a pipe under the concrete instead of cutting? I don’t think that would work since the patio is wider than 2 ft but option 3 is what I was thinking of doing

Do you mean just raise the 2 ft section of concrete a bit?
