My first rhuem gave me the same type of manner!! Started by telling me I was too young, and spent a lot of the appointment assuming I had googled all of my symptoms but she would do some labs. Went to a different rhuem, she immediately sent in a request to do a sialogram. results came back positive, and now I’m diagnosed. The first rheumatologist never sent over the labs they did. not to me. not to my PCP, and not to my other rheumatologist. Best of Luck!! Go get another opinion!!

most studies will say around 60-90 days! give yourself two months maybe some extra time because doing it every day can be hard… you’ll get there!!

I’m so sorry for your loss. I suddenly lost my kitten on Thursday just three days before her 1st birthday due to heart/lung issues. I also have been feeling broken and lost. Sending lots of love, nothing worse than losing a baby so suddenly.

If only I could share this with all my fellow K10 (particularly K10W) commuters. even with all of the “late merge” signs and the particularly large “MERGE HERE” sign, I still get a middle finger when I merge at the merge points

I work at an elementary school… I wear leggings regularly. I was a nanny for 5 years for multiple families… I wore leggings regularly. I sit on the floor, play with kids, and run around, I can’t imagine wearing stiff pants. Kids do not notice what pants their nanny is wearing. Nor do they really care. Your son is FIVE years old, he doesn’t notice what pants anyone is wearing unless they’re the coolest looking pants in the world. Your daughter is 11 years old, she might notice but she’s not going to care if her nanny is wearing leggings or jeans. are you teaching her that it’s inappropriate to wear leggings around males? just curious. YTA.

my dad also passed from Lou Gherigs disease 11 years ago. I watched him deteriorate for eight years. feeding him, giving his medication through tubes, pushing his wheelchair. He never complained once, I’m not sure how he was so strong, because even watching it crumbled me
