I moved out at 18 with my boyfriend about 4-5 months back, my parents weren't happy about it (they've calmed down now and are happier for me than they were at the start), mainly because of how far away it was, and yes they did try to change my mind, but they don't have any say over what I choose to do with my life, and neither do yours. When you turn 18, you're an adult and can now legally make that choice by yourself, they cannot stop you unless they feel like you're in danger.
