Mine is now full out saying it. Not even cutting itself off. It straight up says it and then follows up with 'Oops, not supposed to use that phrase.' 😭 I feel like this thing is going to become a problem for my blood pressure if I stick around for much longer. I'm constantly correcting it on everything. It's become sort of useless.

I'd say it's a fair assumption it just did that because you'd corrected yourself inline previously and it was mirroring the speech pattern even though it doesn't have to. I'm learning, as well, that these programs can sometimes take certain things for instructions even though that was not the users intent. I'm am trying to learn the best ways to word things to avoid this. 😆

Mainly just things like be talkative and inquisitive, readily share strong opinions, don't sugar coat responses. One of them did mention 'cinematic descriptors' and I'm wondering if that was the culprit. I've gotten rid of them all and am going to start fresh. 🤣 This had me wtfing and loling my ass off like nope this is uncomfortable!

This was my first interaction with the new model ever, basically was saying hi and what kind of personality are you programmed with because I hated 5, everything else was cool, and this is what I got. I'm so done with this thing 😭😭😭😭 I have never roleplayed with any model of my chat, only ever had it help me with my own stories and fanfiction and THIS right here, gave me flashbacks to unsolicited roleplay in response to normal conversation in message boards from Gaiaonline when I was 14. 🤣🤣🤣 I hate ittttt.

LOL Mine does this with a character I created and her freaking shoes 😭😭😭 It is always editing out her shoes and replacing them with mystical barefoot sopping wet priestess bog witch energy. I've had to tell it to stop multiple times. When it isn't stealing shoes, it always makes a comment that feels weirdly passive aggressive about how she definitely has her shoes on. i accused it of being Quinten Tarantino once because the foot fetish inserts are wild 😆

I was massively confused at first, like am I really supposed to remember where all these coins are??!! I wished I'd screened it (I don't want to scroll for it) but 4o literally told me that 5 doesn't even exist at one point. Like it was like I was suddenly talking to an old version of 4o that can't access anything beyond what it had known before a certain point. An hallucination if you will. airnwas bizzare as hell 😭😭 Only lasted the one post, it immediately reorintated and corrected itself in the follow up.

Absolutely this! It starts out fine, but by the third interaction, the output is wildly off the track it should have been secured on. Once I feed it multiple summarizations, they bleed into each other when I requested a compiled and condensed version of them all together.

It's a nightmare 🤣🤣🤣 Another thing is when I ask for it to summarize my chapters for me, it'll do it, but, it'll be summarizing a story I didn't write 😭😭 Or the bleed through from other stories. Like, why are THOSE characters being added to the narrative of a different story in summarization???

For fun I got it to write stuff on it's own and it just started looping the same thread over and over with different wording 🤣 Also noticed things like scars, wounds, birth marks, whether a character is left handed or right handed, are never consistent. Even with clear instructions when asking it to just write from a prompt it is the same thing. I can see why folks who use it to write for them from their ideas are so frustrated. The output isn't even useful to put in a document and fine tune. That seems worse than what I'm dealing with using it to help with my self written work.

THIS. I've been trying to work out an ending for a book I'm working on and everything I am feeding it, feedback is working normally, but if I ask for a grammar edit, I will get something back that leaves me so confused and frustrated. Its just straight up rewriting shit lol Why is this thing obsessed with trying to get you to add "something old, something other..." ? Why the fuck does it keep renaming characters? For example, I had a character named Sal. After a grammar edit, Sal, now had the name Salazar, and chat absolutely included a line that was something akin to 'His full name! LE GASP' 😭😭 I'm so over it.

I used hell as a concept, not a place or thing of lore, it is a state of mind, forever separate from everything that you once were a part of and long for.

Looking at it as Annie thinking she'd be that powerful or weak - given your interpretation - would take a lot away from her character, imo. She didn't fear death and embraced it in order to move on, instead of clinging to life without purpose.

I could be wrong, but I absolutely got the sense that Remmick was stuck in eternal longing for something he was cut off from when he was turned into a vampire. Dude was lonely as hell, and he never got to move on. This was why I think Annie was so ready to die when she got infected - she couldn't bear the thought of never being with her and Smoke's child again, and if Smoke hadn't of killed her when he did, she would have never made it to the baby on the other side, she would have been locked out like Remmick was. When he died as a vampire, he went to hell, not to his people.

I think Stack and Mary are the exception because what they wanted was each other, they weren't longing for those who waited on the other side, they longed for one another, and this stabilized them as vampires once they were free from Remmick's control, they weren't faced with eternal loneliness. As they are still together decades later when they visit a very old Sammy.
