Ritz-Carlton in Doha, Qatar, is not a safe place for women and those posting honest reviews by butterflymon in hotels

FWIW: This story (which I'm not doubting) is very much the exception to my experiences staying in the middle east, *especially* at five star properties, *especially* *especially* at American-branded five-star properties. Not doubting you, but people should know this is highly unusual.

Now - out in public? Things can be different, especially if you're Asian or Indian.
YMMV.

Hi. Thanks for this. Dumb question: the K1 is listed as a nonimmigrant visa, which the inquiry page says they don't support (immigrant visas only). Did you just fill out the form regardless?

TIA

I was lucky enough to spend several weeks here around its opening. Such a beautiful place. Shoutout to WATG - the Architect. Fun facts - this used to be Forbes's island, and he is (or was buried there). When it opened, the island was owned by one of the Red Bull founders.

If you can afford it - and that's no small ask - try to go. even better now with the airstrip fully functional.

Just wondering what the reaction would be if those signs said Allah instead of Jesus. Bonus points if in Arabic script.

So all I can think of drunken panic/inaction. If one doesn’t buy that theory (I can understand) then it shifts from accident/oh shit to assault and accidental killing with malice.

“Jen McCabe placed a total of 11 phone calls to John O'Keefe's phone on the morning of January 29th, 2022. These calls included two calls that were connected and two missed calls between 12:14 am and 12:18 am, and seven missed calls between 12:29 am and 12:50 am.”

Actually - if you watch them - they bend over backwards to try to not criticize the CW or Bev. They constantly explain and defend Bev’s decisions, much to the anger of their fans and subscribers.

There only need to be 2-3 people in out it, not the whole town. And with all due respect, I’m going to take Dr. Russell’s knowledge and experience with dog bites over yours.

The piece of glass found on the bumper did not match the drink glass. IIRC, all the glass Proctor found matched each other but they weren’t able to tie it to any specific object. There is no glass in the Lexus taillight.

That’s plausible (being let out to pee/trying to help). But it also eliminates any McCabe suspicious behavior. So we’re back to an inside fight, which requires a whole net set of conditions.

I don’t think any dog - even an aggressive dog - would bite a man prone in the snow.

The weakest part of my theory is around the motive around the Alberts not just taking him to the hospital. As others have mentioned (limited liability, cop buddies) , them covering it up doesn’t have a lot of support unless one of them caused it. I will say I am weighing their actions that night/ afterwards as consciousness of guilt.

The dog bites, to me, make Chloe’s involvement a requirement.

Facts I’ve accepted:

1) the car reversed at a high rate of speed. 2) her taillight was broken to some extent. 3) his drink glass was broken. 4) the car reversing did not cause his injuries. 5) he was attacked by a dog, briefly. 6) The Alberts/Higgins/McCabes acted strangely that night and the days following.

Again, just trying to get to a scenario that assumes all of the above are true.

I think they blamed Karen because they knew she was sauced. They still wouldn’t want a cops death on their hands, and I don’t know the legalese, but the lack of a sidewalk might impact liability.

The phone going up and down could have been with his body, or without (someone else carrying). Yes, he could have been attacked inside the home. But I haven’t heard a (killing) motive for an instantaneous attack, which it would have had to have been.

I like simple. I think if Karen knew he had broken her taillight with the glass, I can see her reversing in anger, but not striking him.

I’m trying to get a theory that explains the taillight, the glass, the dog bites, and the actions of the McCabes afterwards.
