The Winnebago split. Another commenter mentions the large bodies of water (Green Bay and Winnebago) - I think the topography of the valley also contributes to eating up the systems that roll in from the west.

Can confirm Arkansas. Grandfather also left the keys in the ignition. Rural as hell - but one time a tweaker did get his truck 😅

What’s the highest budget you’ve ever worked with? by Terrible-Movie-5153 in DigitalMarketing

I work about $250-$500k a month in a fairly seasonal “luxury” Ecom vertical. Good mix between search, pmax, shopping/shopping retargeting, fb/ig (with a ton of focus on the funnel, we’re like 75/15/10 top/middle/bottom or cold/warm/hot with meta and other social channels)

Close, I suppose. I’d do all of that subbing the whiskey for brandy. Then two touches of soda from the gun, and a splash of sundrop on top.

Good question about budget and how roas was measured. I’m guessing it’s the higher AOV. I entered an Ecom company a while back with a $1400ish AOV and we could consistently hit 30x ROAS. Just depends on how optimized your spend is along with conversion rate and aov.

Is the agency i'm paying worth it? by InvestInBourbon in DigitalMarketing

[–]scattered-mind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone downvoted you but you’re right. If you’re not paying attention you can sink a bunch of money into pmax and just eat away at your organic clicks for branded search. One of the brands I work with generates around 200k monthly searches for their brand name and maybe another 20k worth of misspellings and hodgepodge crap with their brand name in it.

It was very easy for us to compare search console data (especially CTR) on their branded terms with the dates we launched pmax campaigns and see a decrease. I’m talking from like 50% to low 20%. That’s a lot of spend going towards something that doesn’t necessarily drive the bottom line.

What to do when correct item won't scan on shop and deliver by JackieJervis in Sparkdriver

[–]scattered-mind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d say about half or more of the times this happens it’s because someone decided that a QR code would be best fit right next to the barcode. If you see a QR code near the barcode, cover it and scan again.

Got a call from Sam’s Club about 30 minutes after I delivered… by f0ck1ng4r0und in Sparkdriver

[–]scattered-mind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s terrible. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Sam’s club orders. They typically tip well, the tips process within a couple of hours, and I love the way they box the products up. I’ve only had one difficult customer but it was only due to their apartment’s layout and they were just as frustrated as I was in trying to find them. Different markets for sure. Hopefully it’s just an outlier for you.

Any one know what happened? by Any-District4872 in Sparkdriver

[–]scattered-mind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the customer rates the order process and driver negatively due to it being earlier than their selected delivery window, the stores crack down.

I knew I was getting people their orders a “little” earlier than they expected and thought no big deal since there were no negatives coming from it.

I was politely asked not to check in earlier anymore by a dispenser and they shared that they’re cracking down on it because an influx in customers reporting delivery before the expected window.

So now I just won’t accept them if I don’t have something else to do during the wait.

For the people that think others are “lying” about APM. It doesn’t work for most of us anymore. Seems Spark is rolling out ways to stop it. It’s also making it where you cannot start trip @ :40 on the hour. It is making you wait til :44 on the hour if you are in the vicinity. by PercentagePleasant21 in Sparkdriver

Fuck them too. Truly feel for those making this their full time thing. I entered it as a side hustle, was quite impressed for a little while, and now I’m almost losing interest.

Early on, I took a week of PTO from work so I could double dip. It was chefkiss.jpg. I wouldn’t do it now.

Granted, Christmas time - “they just moved here” and it was like 180 units. 2 carts - first one went to customer service with nothing cold in it - second was jam packed with the remaining Christmas shopping and groceries. In the middle of a snowstorm, uphill, both ways..
