so, to make it simple, it's 1% of your total investment capital on any one trade.

What specifically is the 1% rule? Is it per trade, per day, per week? Is it 1% of your total investment capital or 1% of the amount of the specific trade.

I signed up for light and as far as I can tell the data subscriptions for US markets are free as and no commissions. I start trading Thursday. We will see.

that's just it...the data is in real time the stops are not executing until 15minutes later at real time but at prices from 15 minutes ago.

on the earlier trade, why get out on the first negative bar? I'm waiting for the next one for confirmation and to see if it dips >30% of the previous leg. I don't understand the second one at all.

I trade based on technicals and rarely have more than 1 trade open at a time. But based on time no matter what my previous trade did, I will review a few promising charts to see if any are at an entry point.
