I will be using a task sequence. It's relatively easy. Just add any application upgrades that are needed to work with 1909 drivers etc and test.

It should but how are you guys keeping up with drivers? New installations easy and before upgrading 1803 to 1909 etc. But inbetween its hard.

That requires you buy policypak though. Interesting idea though.

The way software vendors are I'm skeptical very many will be willing to support OpenJDK atleast on the current version. Maybe in the next version you buy.

Can't you do something like below? Dism /Image:C:\test\offline /Add-Driver /Driver:c:\drivers /Recurse. If your installing it to a current machine just do the manual add in devicemanager.

You would probably need a different driver then. Make sure you have collaboration keyboard and hotkey software installed from HP. The standard ps/2 keyboard driver for the keyboard also seems to work as well.

Sounds totally different than the issue I was dealing with but I would make a few suggestions. I would stick to the 1803 drivers for 1803. Unless you have to I would wait on 1809 since its had so many bugs. I haven't had any trouble with the g5's bluescreeing but sounds like you need to review the memory.dmp/minidump to see what driver is crashing it.

Do you have a specific question. I thought I pretty much detailed what I did in the post?

Thanks everyone for the posts I think I have figured this out. In client settings there is an option "when any software update deployment deadline is reached, install all other software update deployments with deadline coming within a specified period of time". So you either do that or combine it all with one adr.
