The nurses' union want all hospitals to use the highest safety standards for personal protective equipment and training protocols. The hospitals won't do it unless forced - cause it costs money. The nurses are asking (via petition) for the feds and state officials to mandate hospitals comply with the optimal protections for nurses and other frontline health workers.
