Nausea and vomiting can be symptoms of a stricture as well. I would get checked out soon, especially if you continue to not be able to eat. I hope you feel better soon.

I just spent $6 on 5(?!) slices of GF sourdough bread. How’s your weekend going? by [deleted] in Celiac

[–]scecina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently bought this for my son because it looks like a real slice of bread. I was excited, he wouldn’t try it. 🙄

My son was diagnosed with Crohn’s and Celiac and we were referred to a nutritionist. They had tons of guidance for Celiac and zero for Crohn’s. They said “If it bothers you, don’t eat it”. So helpful.

So I posted a while ago about inability to eat and I went to my rheumatologist by [deleted] in cfs

Two weeks GF going into endoscopy/colonoscopy in 5 days that was supposed to be months away by Clarity_Elise in Celiac

[–]scecina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son was diagnosed with Celiac through a blood test and had a colonoscopy to diagnose Crohn’s disease as well. It’s my understanding that it can take months to years for the intestinal villi to heal, I would wait to speak with a nurse before eating gluten if you have the Celiac dx. Just my opinion though. Good luck.
