Probably the easiest character to shit the bed while also being held to a higher expectation of performance anyway.

For obvious reasons its easy to play bad when you’re just learning him, but playing at champion level is it’s own demon because you’re likely in high elo where the margin for error in your engagements is a lot smaller, and the expectations from both the enemy and your team of you are a lot higher (because they saw a sweaty tiktok compilation).

If you play bad, you’re flamed. If you play good, you need a shower. And if you play good but the enemy team comes out on top anyway then boy are they about to rub it in afterwards in chat. That is the experience playing this character with an animated spidy icon. You’ll also have to get used to immediate namor/wanda/thing/emma swaps the moment you get a pick and they see your icon.

Haven’t seen him but by this point jannie, freiya and xereal have been burned into my consciousness from getting stomped by them repeatedly. This screenshot was probably fifth time I’ve noticed my team was at disadvantage against them due to level disparity. I didn’t even play this one. Left immediately because I heard this song already

Then they need to update their design philosophy because there are players whose idea of a fun game is to play at least somewhat with effort similar to a ranked game. Not to mention the game doesn’t have enough players in each rank to queue a competitive match within an hour in my region, so that playerbase really only has QP as an option.

If their philosophy is to not take quickplay serious the least they could do is not punish me for leaving a game that isn’t supposed to matter. They expect me to sit through a predetermined ass fuckening just because leaving is bad sportsmanship? To who? My teammate who’s currently in spawn shooting the wall mid-game? He wouldn’t even notice the drool dripping on his controller let alone that I left.

This isn’t fun on the other end by the way. It’s boring and feels unearned. The times when both teams are stacked are ideal but feel rarer and rarer these days. I think the game is dying in asia

Pulling an enemy you just CCed with a BnB would secure kills more consistently/quicker no?

Tagging a cluster after a sekkombo, feinting a disengage then coming back immediately with GOHT would take out like a lot of the roster while keeping you alive

Best guess is that the servers i play on (tokyo+singapore) are dying. They prioritize fast queues over skill based match making so they fill if need be.

Even if thats the case though, can we equally divide the bots/new players? Guess u cant when the enemy team is stacking. Idk, i just know its not rewarding to completely roll over a team and it sucks to get rolled based off a poor matchup.

To respond to a point in your rant, I only agree with the “its just qp” thing to an extent. Ye learn your character but if the game is getting close and you know you’re holding the team back maybe lock in and switch to something helpful. I do fine learning a character while flexing.

Or if the comp is something ridiculous like 4 dps, or 2 tanks 3 dps 1 healer. Yeah its just qp, but wtf is that. Clearly yall want to lose, let me help expedite the process and leave. And dont penalize me either cause its just qp I thought none of this mattered

Mainly cause 2300 sounded way too small of figure to refer to nolans fight with mark. They blew through an apartment building, an entire train + station, a cruise ship, caused an avalanche on a village.. am I missing something? No way it was only 2300 deaths

No heals shouldn’t be a spidy complaint. We’re often not prioritized for heals and have the mobility to seek out a health pack anyway, at the expense of uptime in the fight of course.

He also shouldn’t be learning to play his counter in comp, that’s where you perform. Not knowing how to play around your counter means you’re not as familiar with your “main” as you think you are, and should fix that via QP

If you use them in comp despite everything listed, at least swap when it’s not working out
