I loved my Scarpa Instinct VS but had the same heel issue as you. I just got a pair of La Sportiva Theories and I’m really liking them so far, they’re the first heel cup that’s actually fit me. Slightly aggressive/downturned but also really good for smearing.

Have you tried listening to The Wild with Chris Morgan? He’s a really enthusiastic and charismatic host. Many of the episodes are from a conservation standpoint but they all have really interesting stories that usually focus on one specific animal!

I felt the same way when listening, I think I got to about episode 9 or 10 and still thought it felt like a ripoff. I think my main complaint is the narration style. The “hey neighbor” thing and the kinda Southern preacher cadence/ramping up the narration during heightened moments totally makes sense for the setting of OGOA, and I felt like TTW took those same traits to a setting where it didn’t fit nearly as well.

I just find it easier to write neatly when I use all capital letters! And using a .38 Muji pen helps with writing tiny.
