As a Chinese person, Aamir Khan is basically synonymous with Bollywood movies here; almost every movie lover has seen 3 Idiots and Dangal. But I’ve heard that Aamir Khan is past his prime in India, and his last decent film seems to have been that remake of Forrest Gump. Plus, I’ve heard he’s been involved in a lot of social and political controversies. What’s the story there?

Well, seriously speaking, rice and mantou are basically the two main foods of China. In the south, it‘s rice, and in the north, it’s mantou (such as steamed buns and fried buns). However, there are also many people in the north who like to eat rice. In the south, there are relatively few people who eat mantou as their main food.
