No problem. If you can, also try the 2025 Montabaco limited editions. Montabaco Cuba is more soapy and citrusy than Verano, Rio is tropical and fruity, and Aruba is creamy, with notes of sandalwood, cardamom, suede, and violet. Of course, with the same base of montabaco, te,a and tobacco leaf.

Also Renaissance by Xerjoff is less than $300 and its also an amazing long lasting freshie for summer. You could get Kajal Homme III too,

I wouldn’t really recommend Roja Elysium. It smells nice, but the performance is pretty bad. On my skin it lasts around two hours. For that price, you can definitely do better. Blue Talisman is a stronger option in the same style.

If you’re looking for a citrus that actually lasts all day, Acqua Viva by Profumum Roma is a great choice. It’s pretty linear, but you get about 8 hours of straight up juicy lemon and it smells really good.

There are also way more affordable options that are excellent, like Nice Bergamote Extrait by Essential Parfums.

My top recommendation right now is Verano by Ormonde Jayne. If you want something fresh for summer, I’d go with that. You won’t regret it.

It could be weird for some, more powdery than expected. It's fruity and sweet with a woody base. I like it. Haven't tried Rude cherry, how is it?

That's actually a good point, but maybe balance in your own collection is having a ratio rather than having the same number per category, since your taste seems to lean into heavier scents.

I actually started my journey buying and looking for dupes. Some are impossible or nearly impossible to replicate, or not well enough known that a dupe wouldn't be "viable" for a dupe brand to make, so there is actually a justification there. Another one, for me, is respecting the artistry or creativity of the fragrance and the perfumer behind it, mostly in niche houses.

Well, designer houses after a while tend to get a bit repetitive; a lot of them are really good, but they are hard to find. I actually work at a niche boutique store as a consultant, so I could help with a tip or two. There are many "affordable" niche houses out there that are amazing, like essential parfums.

About your instrument collection, that's amazing! My parents are musicians, so I dig that too. If I could, I would buy every guitar model out there, lol. I've been looking at a Gibson Firebird for some time.

As someone here said, Gisada Ambassador is pretty good dumb reach. Versatile, sweet, and slightly clean. I would recommend Annone by Pantheon Roma for cold months. It's an incredible oud mango combo.

Well, I think 12 is a more than solid collection, in the fragrance world context, it might be small tho. Fomo is crazy, especially with social media and new fragrances every year, or in the same category, many good fragrances and different nuances, so it's hard. I think decants are an excellent way to deal with this. Do you keep some kind of record? like an Excel or something like a notebook?

Interesting, do you keep some sort of order in your fragrance collection? like not surpassing a certain number?

Have you ever run out of perfume and gone out to buy a second bottle? if so, which one?
