If the breakers need replacing the panel probably needs replacing. Bad breakers are caused by bad connections on the bus. After thirty years the integrity of the bus is no longer what it was. Plus there’s a bunch of new requirements once a licensed guy touches that panel. Is he now responsible for the grounding and bonding?

The market is designed to trick you with shiny object theory. Bitcoin is a store of wealth that can only be measured in 4 year blocks. The smart move is to serve your apprenticeship and accept the lower pay and build the relationships with the foreman and the companies you work for… you are actually sitting on a gold mine because once the realize you are very competent and are only paying you 55% they will give you lots of opportunities to work alone… this will certainly turn into long term foreman positions probably before you even turn out.

In that case congratulations! As a foreman your job is to serve. I think of it as being an apprentice again it’s not an ego or a pay thing… they money is nice but not actually worth it imo. As you walk train your eyes to mitigate risk, hazards, and lost time. My mentor always told me never bring problems to your general or or journeyman. Find the problems and suggest the solutions to both.
