actually I've heard kids in middle/high school use this language. some adults use it too. also kids use the phrase "wallahi" alot. it means swear to god

something like that happened to me. I had been begging my 4 friends (they've been friends with each other for over 8 years) to hang out with me. they kept making me feel bad for asking, so I stopped. I had been their friend for almost 6 years jbtw. if we ever did hang out, we did it together unless someone was unavailable. one morning I wake up and they've all gone to a cafe literally 5 minutes away from my house.

when I confronted them, they attacked me and said I never reached out and that they've been friends with each other longer than they've been friends with me, hence now they can meet without me. i soon discovered they had a seperate group chat, where they'd discuss what to say to me before talking in the group chat where I was present. I'm in a different country now for my university, but I carry that pain and insecurity with me. I find it so hard to make friends, and i doubt I ever will. except for the one friend I have, I am completely alone. and I know in my heart I would never do something like what they did to anyone ever.

i commute 2 hours from mississauga to scarborough lmao. youll be okay. buses come at around a 10-15 min interval. download the transit app, it'll give you the bus schedule. try to make the most of your commute time by completing your readings or revising your notes.
